Hello !!!! My name is Dusty, or little Dusty as everyone calls me. As you can see I was named Dusty Grey because of my grey color. I was adopted from Petsmart on June 6, 2000. I arrived at PetSmart with two brothers who looked just like meezers and a sister who was a long haired pretty little orange girl. Someone just droppped the box off in front and left. Thank goodness we were too young to get out and run in the parking lot. We were only about four weeks old. We went to a foster home for several weeks and the lady named us all with royal names. She called me King Tut. When we were old enough to be adopted we were brought down to PetSmart and put into a cage. There were over thirty kittens during that time and the chances of being adopted were not very good. Well one day this lady came in and saw my name (I heard her say) "I can't believe it" and she went home. Several days later she came back with this very tall man just to (show) him the kitten with the same name as their Rainbow Bridge Cat. The man picked me up and even though he kept saying "no more cats" he wouldn't put me down. Then when the lady heard that my chances for adoption were not very good she said maybe they could just foster me. The man said "absolutely not" but he still wouldn't put me down. Finally the lady said "ok lets go" and he said "we'll adopt him." Wow was I surprised. When I got home I met my two new brothers, Mac and Jazpurr. I wasn't at all shy and Mac and I became good friends right away. Jazpurr had to hiss and spit at me for a few days before we became friends.
I am a bundle of pure energy and Mom says that I bring out the kitten in Jazpurr and the Mother instinct in Mac, (huh Mac is a boy) oh well he sure likes to hold me down and wash me when all I want to do is play, play, play.
