| In June 2003 we discovered the wonderful world of alpacas. After months of research and visits to several ranches, in October, we finally purchased our first alpaca, Snowmass Lady Guinevere, from John and Tina Malkus of Alpaca de la Pacifica in Somis CA. We want to thank them for all their expertise and help in getting started. On December 24, 2003 our first cria (baby alpaca) was born. We named her Gingerbread in honor of being born on Christmas Eve. We moved from Southern California to Greeneville Tennessee in August 2004. Before we left California we purchased Celeste. We purchased 5 acres in Greeneville Tennessee and began to build our home and set up our farm. During the house building we kept our 3 alpacas at Appalachian Alpacas in Limestone. We want to thank Mike and Laura Durham for letting us keep our alpacas there for 9 months. On December Gwen again presented us with a cria, our boy, Arrow. On May 24th after 363 days Celeste gave us a beautiful white girl (with a spot of fawn on her right back leg) we named here Celestial Serenade (Sarah).
