| More M4 Shermans were made during WWII than any other tank. One day after the M3 Grant went into production plans began on a replacement. It had a 360 degree rotating turret and had gyrostabilizers that could ceep the turret on target while moving. It has fairly well slanted armour and a powerful 75mm gun. This tank probably changed the tide of the war beacause so many were built. Shermans were also equipped for mineclearing, armoured recovery and floating. |
