Homer Black was born in Amarillo, Texas in 1931. Though he was raised in Louisiana he's made the most impact as a young man upon moving to San Francisco to work at the San Francisco Naval Shipyard. Homer moved to San Francisco and began a long career in the steel fabrication industry and never looked back. Living life in San Francisco afforded many opportunities. After purchasing his first home, Homer began to consider general contracting and pursued this endeavor after he retired from the shipyard in 1977. He attended college in Alameda, Ca. which geared him towards his contractors license and rehabilitating homes in the San Francisco Bay Area,
East Bay, and
Los Angeles, California areas.
He currently resides in the Los Angeles, Ca. area where he is an avid golfer/golf club owner and MSN webtv consultant.
He stays active and attributes his youthful appearance to running Lake Merritt, Bay To Breakers Annual Race, playing golf 2-3 times a week and a healthy diet including aloe vera products which he has been a consultant/consumer of for over 15 years. Mr. Black is aspiring to expand his
business in the areas of
marketing and real estate.
