Ok. Well. Where to start. I don't really know how much anyone knows me (besides my friends that know me...haha. wow that was profound) so let's start from the beginning with all the gritty details.
I was born and raised in Houson Texas. I've lived in the same house except for 2 year when we lived in Littleton, Colorado. I have 4 (four) older sisters who are all married. The oldest (Michelle) has 2 sons and is married to David. The next one (monique) has 1 son and 2 daughters and is married to David. Hooray for poligamy. Ok, i'm kidding. But watch the trend. The next (Rachel) is going to have a girl in November and is married to Michael. The next is Emily and she has a little girl named China and she's married to Micah. My mom's name is Cheryl and my Dad's name is Allan. I dated a friend named Alan for a little while. I guess it's good that his name wasn't David or Michael, but still, my sisters kinda gave me a hard time about that one. It's all good though. I'm 18 now, graduated from Klein High School and I'm headed for BYU-Idaho. The Y of I. The Mormon bubble that is NOT in Utah. I try to avoid Utah when possible. But as a respect to my Utah friends, i won't go off on that tangent. Since 6th grade I've been in band playing the flute and since 7th I've been in choir. I'm majoring in music, so i really like it. Here are some of my musical accomplishments.
Freshman year our music program received one of 10 grammy awards given to high schools. that was pretty cool. it's sitting in a box on the wall in our school. coolio. our full orchesta has been to TMEA because of being named Texas State Honor Orchestra 3 times in the past 7 years (due to the rules) and i've been twice. Being apart of that has been one of the most amazing experiences in my life and has really influenced me to major in music. i guess our band is pretty good too. we do alright in marching. we made it to BOA finals once during the past 4 years. i think we made 6th in Area my senior year. that's pretty much it about band. we played some rockin repetoire my junior and senior year. for the complete list our our works, contact me. we went to Washington DC in 2001 and that was so cool. our choir is definately the best choir in the state of the United States. yeah. we were the feature choir at the National Youth Choir concert in 2003 and i was a flute soloist in one our our pieces. i was in chamber choir my senior year as well as band and full orchestra. i did the pit orchestra for 2 years and that was super dooper fun. i love music. it's a very important part of my life. i hate composing, but oh well. you can't enjoy everything about music. i have a CD of my senior flute recital if you're interested.
Sometime in the future, i want to get married to a "Moroni" guy in the Houston temple (see Moroni 48). Certain things have become so much more important to me and the temple is one of them. I want to start a family and i think it would be great to be in an orchestra.
These past 3 summers I attended the San Antonio session of EFY. I've been totally lucky to have great groups. The first year we had the most awesome guys, and second year, we had such a close group of girls. After all, we're not hosers, we're sprinklers, and if you mess with one sprinkler, you mess with the whole sprinkler system!!!! And this summer, our group was just so awesome all over. All our girls we awesome and we got along great, and the guys were just so cool!!
In case you're interested in the whole stats thing, I'm 1, 5'8", short dark brown hair, brown eyes, I weigh somewhere between 44 and 372, and I'm currently single! ...just thought I'd through that in to give myself a laugh. hahahahaha. ok, i got my laugh. |
