The CT400 printers are a series of high speed, high performance direct thermal and thermal transfer label printers, available in both 8 dot/mm and 12 dot/mm versions.

The new generation SH3 RISC processor with a fast processing speed is at the heart of the CT400 Series. With a printing speed of up to 150mm/sec combined with this outstanding processing power, rapid printing of labels with variable text, graphics and all popular linear and 2D barcodes and symbologies is guaranteed. Trials conducted at Labelgraphics demonstrated a significant increase in performance over older generation Sato models.

With a Windows driver as standard, the printing of label formats from any Windows based application is easy, meaning that label software is not essential.

The CT400 has a high speed RS232 serial port and a high speed bi-directional IEEE-1284 parallel interface, and with USB and Ethernet as options the Sato CT400 Series label printers can be connected to most PC's and terminals. The Sato CT400 Series label printers are stylish yet robust in design, quick to install, easy to use and have a remarkably small footprint. This means that they can be used where they are needed and when they are wanted!
