Tactile Safety Labels for Car Care Products

OUR CUSTOMER: Decosol is one of the leading companies in its field. Founded in 1935, it manufactures a range of car care and aircraft products, including de-icers, shampoo, screen washes and cleaners.

OUR TASK: Tactile labels are designed to help blind and visually impaired people identify packs with dangerous substances and preparations. Previously, the warning triangle was produced separately and hand-applied to the product, adding expense and wasting valuable time.

OUR SOLUTION: The labels, used on bottles of de-icer, are printed by Labelgraphics using an innovative combination of flexography and silk screen process, with a thick gloss varnish used to produce the raised triangle.The company now depends on Labelgraphics for a range of product labels.
