CLASSROOM RULES

1.    Come into class on time and prepared with all needed materials to help you with taking notes and joining in group discussions, etc.

2.    Avoid ALL classroom disruptions; you are always expected to be courteous and quiet during class time.

3.    Absolutely NO pop, candy, bubble gum, caps, or headphones in class.

4.    There should be no reason for going to the bathroom (or getting a drink) during class time.  Take care of these activities BEFORE class.

5.    ALWAYS raise your hand to answer or ask a question.  We will be in a group discussion format almost every day, so it works best if one person talks at a time without interruption from anyone else.

6.    Lab activities will be carried out in a manner that emphasizes safety at all times.  Any fooling around will result in immediate removal from the lab and loss of ALL the lab points earned for that day.

7.    Students will work in lab stations with one or more lab partners.  There is NO reason for students to be migrating around the classroom to visit with other lab stations during the experiment!

8.    When reading and/or written work is required during class time, you are expected to stay quiet and work on the given assignment.

9.    When a test/quiz/homework assignment is missed due to an EXCUSED absence, it is YOUR responsibility to make it up.  You will receive a "0" on your computer grade report until you make up the test/assignment.

10.         Clean up your desk, floor space, or lab at the end of each period!!!

ALWAYS USE COMMON SENSE WHEN WORKING IN ANY SCIENCE CLASSROOM LABORATORY
