Yulia was born on February 20th, 1985 and is from Moscow, Russia. Yulia is an only child. She is described as the crazy and energetic one of t.A.T.u. During her free time, Yulia likes to play tennis.

Lena was born on October 4th, 1984 and is from Moscow, Russia. Lena is the youngest of three. She is described as the sweet and quiet one of t.A.T.u.During her free time, Lena likes riding horses, swimming, doing gymnastics, and figure skating.
Lena has grey eyes and loves the color pink. She not only can sing, but also she can play the piano.
-Yulia and Lena sang in a children's group called "Neposedy". So, the girls have been friends for a long time. However, Yulia was asked to leave the group because of "obscene behavior and corrupting other singers".
-The girls were chosen out of 500 people to form the group t.A.T.u.
