Russia is a federation with its capital
is located in Moscow. Russia gained its independence on August 24,
1991, and its current constitution was adopted on December 12, 1993.
Their legal system is a civil law system with judicial review of all legislative
acts. Current leader is President Vladimir Vladimirovichv Putin.
He is elected by the popular vote and is allowed to serve for 4 years.
Similar to the US government Russia had an Executive, Legislative, and
Judicial Branch to run to country.
