Our goal is for LAAW to become a household name, synonymous with the United Way, the American Red Cross, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In doing so, our purpose extends to increasing awareness and support on a local level.
The LAC works in conjunction to the PR Committe of LAAW's Board of Directors. Our hope is to be able to reach new businesses and communities with the message of preventing violence against women and children.
The LAC was also a partner in bringing a Take Back The Night march to St. Louis for the first time in 15 years!
Currently we are making plans for Running For Their Lives as an awareness event and a way to reach out to the running and fitness community, as well as familes and dog-lovers. Mark your calendars and dust off your running shoes for September 23!
This Spring, the Women Lawyers Association at St. Louis University Law School will be hosting another Clothing Sale to benefit LAAW so check back for dates!
