The Secret of the Rainbow What's the secret of the rainbow Appearing after the rain? It is always so far and close, One can never reach its gate. It includes seven brightest colours That slightly embrace the earth, They reflect every little wonder Of our mysterious big world. Violet reflects the late sunset When the day is almost gone, And the nature begins to scent The night is about to fall. Dark blue reflects the endless sea - The place of fairy mermaids, Dark blue reveals all the marine In all its beauty and grace. Blue reflects the hue of the sky When there is not a single cloud, And bluebell fields stretching for miles, Dotted with tiny flowers. Green reflects the heart of the wild - The home of living species Where little grasshoppers play at nights Hidden somewhere in the bushes. Yellow reflects part of the sun Which lends its colour to wheat, Which gives strength and light to young plants, And makes roses smell so sweet. Orange reflects the first sunbeams - Little children of the sunrise, They awake us with warm kisses Hiding behind the horizon.
