The Secret of the
Rainbow

What's the secret of the rainbow
Appearing after the rain?
It is always so far and close,
One can never reach its gate.

It includes seven brightest colours
That slightly embrace the earth,
They reflect every little wonder
Of our mysterious big world.

Violet reflects the late sunset
When the day is almost gone,
And the nature begins to scent
The night is about to fall.

Dark blue reflects the endless sea -
The place of fairy mermaids,
Dark blue reveals all the marine
In all its beauty and grace.

Blue reflects the hue of the sky
When there is not a single cloud,
And bluebell fields stretching for miles,
Dotted with tiny flowers.

Green reflects the heart of the wild -
The home of living species
Where little grasshoppers play at nights
Hidden somewhere in the bushes.

Yellow reflects part of the sun
Which lends its colour to wheat,
Which gives strength and light to young plants,
And makes roses smell so sweet.

Orange reflects the first sunbeams -
Little children of the sunrise,
They awake us with warm kisses
Hiding behind the horizon.

Red reflects the amazing flower
Of love and passion in our veins
Which blooms in us hour after hour -
A miracle one can't explain.

It's the secret of the rainbow
Appearing high in the sky,
It reflects the world far and close,
It is the mirror of life.
