Little Fairies
Brighter than stars, lighter than air Touching the sleepy flowers Little fairies come out of nowhere To dance with fireflies for hours.
Lulled with the golden rays of the sun, They sleep deep in the rose-leaves. But when the last sunbeam is gone, The world is ruled by those queens.
They visit every child at night Tucking them up so neatly, Kissing them slightly in delight, And singing something sweetly. |
