| You need a program such as WinZip or WinRar to unzip the files. Double clicking the icon will open the program. Just follow the instructions from there. |

| Downloads should be place in the folder: My Documents / EA games / The Sims 2 / Downloads I don't recommend unzipping directly into this folder. |
| How Do I Know If I Have WinZip or WinRar Installed On My Computer? |
| If you've downloaded something and the icon looks like a small vice grip with a sheet of paper you have the correct program. |
| How Do I Download From This Site? |
| If it is a bodyshop or homecrafter item, simply click on the picture. If it is a lot or a complete sim, you will be directed to the appropriate lot or sim on my sim's page on the official The Sims 2 website, and you can download from there. |
