2. James Warren ⁽³⁾ was born on 2 Jun 1749 in Virginia. ⁽⁴⁾ He resided after 1788 in Green County, Kentucky. He resided after 1821 in Lawrence Co., Indiana. He resided after 1826 in Johnson Co., Indiana. He resided Absalom Warren (his son) home on 13 May 1840 in Green County, Kentucky. He died on 19 Aug 1850 in Green County, Kentucky.⁽⁵⁾ He died on 19 Aug 1850 in Green County, Kentucky.^{(6) (7)} He served in the military 15 Oct 1779 to 1782 in Greenville County, South Carolina.

He was married to Barbara "Barbary" Miller in 1773 in Greenville County, South Carolina.⁽⁴⁾ Barbara "Barbary" Miller was born about 1753. She died on 15 Apr 1850 in Green County, Kentucky. ⁽⁶⁾⁽⁸⁾ James Warren and Barbara "Barbary" Miller had the following children:
