Above Alexandria, I arrived in Pollock. Coming in the back way, I found the Pollock Bank. If ever there was a place that said, "Your money is safe here", it is this building. It seems to be reinforced by bands of brick. What's the old saying, "Tough as a brick bank house"?
     No?
The way the name is written just says, "Your money is covered". The "T" is elongated as is the "K". Cool.

The road descends.
My first stop was as far as I'd gotten the last time here.
For the next few pictures, I'll have little to say. I enjoyed the quiet and I'll allow you the same.
The pilings maked an old camp on the river.
This whole area is flooded during the flood season. I think the river determines the dates. I have always found it flooded. It was, now, definitely low and lazy.
Riding down river, I found this camp. I'd say that first step landing is actually that, a landing, in flooded times.
Shuuuuu. Just beautiful, but there was more.
