| Above Alexandria, I arrived in Pollock. Coming in the back way, I found the Pollock Bank. If ever there was a place that said, "Your money is safe here", it is this building. It seems to be reinforced by bands of brick. What's the old saying, "Tough as a brick bank house"? No? |

| This whole area is flooded during the flood season. I think the river determines the dates. I have always found it flooded. It was, now, definitely low and lazy. |
