HALLOWEEN 2004
This is Rob(Lighting Design). His costume is of the stereotypical emo Berklee student. He even had a pack of cigarettes in his messenger bag. Can't be at Berklee without cigarettes.
Kat(Scenic Design) is a master of special effects and make-up. She was a post-apocalyptic demon. That's all latex prosthetic on her face and ears, she even had fangs! Kat ran up and down Comm Ave scaring girls. It was awesome.
Jackie(Costume Design) was Poison Ivy from Batman. Those leaves I cut off several fences across Boston. We were cutting off some ivy when a lady told us to stop. Jackie turned around and said, "Why? They're going to die anyways!" We all walked down from Cambridge to Allston in only are costumes. It was pretty cold.
Jacqueline(Technical Production) was a Moulin Rouge dancer in the theme of Zorro. This costume was magically thrown together in less than an hour by Jess, Jackie, and I. We even stapled part of it(shhh!). This costume had to be carefully monitored throughout the night since we were afraid of "poppage."
Rachel(Lighting Design), Jess(Costume Design), and myself(Costume Design). Rachel hadn't quite changed into her costume yet. She wanted to be a pair of scissors, so I designed and created the costume for her. Jess went as a Greek goddess. Her costume came from the 60's section of the Garmet District. I was a marionette, hence the cross of wood stuck to my back. Its not the best pic of my make-up, but it looked like I came out of "A Clockwork Orange." The cross was detachable so people could move my arms and legs with the sticks. I used Jackie's awesome corset to complete the look. The end result was a lot like my rendering(below).
Funny sticker on the Red Line train in Boston.
