Dresden is the capital of Sachsen. It is very much alive with the arts of all kind. This cultural city has many theatres, operas, and museums.  After it was mostly destroyed in World War II, Dresden has regained it attractiveness.

Semper Opera House
The Semperoper was created in 1667. It has seen many famous Saxons roll through its halls such as Augustus the Strong, Ricahrd Wagner, and Carl Maria von Weber. It was destoryed in 1945 during World War II. In 1985, it was finally reopened. Prices for tickets range from 3,00 to 74,50 Euros.
