A very brief inspection of Picayune revealed several very nice little parks. The train engine, from its size, I would suspect, was used in the lumber industry as a log hauling engine. The different profiles are for my train fans, which I am one.
At another park off the main road, I found this symbol of Southern Society. It, I suspect again, is a bandstand for concerts in the park. As you can see, some classic seating is available.
Like I said this one was just a brief afternnoon recon mission. I'll be back and explore the whole MS Gulf coast eventually. Stay uned. "Next" takes you back to the Mississippi Home Page.
