This picture was located in the Bismarck Tribune Sat. 12 July, 1952. 
The 50th Anniversary reception was held in the couples home in Lavona, Emmons County, ND.
There were some 100 friends and family present including children: Mrs. Frank Krank, William Gillman of Jamestown, Lester Gilman of Monroe, WA, Mrs. Enid Ely and Raymond Gilman of Bismarck and Lynn Gilman who assists his father on the Gilman Farm.  A niece Mrs. James Lamphere and her husband of Kellogg, ID as the couples honored grandson Pvt. David Krank, Fort Riley, Kansas.

Joe Gilman and Ida Bakie were married in Crystal Springs, Kidder County on 05 July, 1902.  Ida's parents were John Bakie and Mary LaFramboise
Here is Grandpa Benny at his job as a printer at Conrad Printing in Bismarck, ND.  This picture was posted in the Bismarck Tribune, 1950's.
