Also filing on the same day, in Morton County, District Court, a resident of Mandan, was Leo RENDINA, age 23, born San Marco in Lamis, emmigrated from Port of Naples to New York, 13 March, 1910, vessell Europa. Leo is believed to be my Great-Grandfather's cousin, a son of one of his mother's brother(s).
Five days later on 10th August, 1914, ,filing the Declaration of Intention in the same court, a resident of Mandan, was Luigi CIAVARELLA, aged 21, born San Marco in Lamis, emmigrated from port of Naples to New York on the vessell Louisiana on 01 May, 1910. Luigi is likely a relation to Nicola(e) CIAVARELLA who married Antoniella CONTESSA. Ironically Luigi's son Ken (recently deceased) and daughter (living) knew my father Larry while he lived in Bismarck, ND. My father met Ken at the Job Corps. where Ken taught. They formed a band together and performed at functions, at the Elks Club, etc. Luigi was good friends with my Grandfather Benny. NEXT
