I remind myself every day to have courage. On my wrist, I wear a bracelet with the word "courage" spelled out. I believe that all strength comes from the courage to stand tall. "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the mastery of fear itself."
My girls bought a card with the description of the name "Cheryl" it means "strong" or "womanly". Someone who is counselor to all; someone who is a joy of life; someone who likes meditation; has compassion and love for others; honest and outgoing; she has mischievous eyes; one who has worked hard for her education; is astute and industrious on the job." This is me.
In these next few pages, I would like to share some of my writings and art with you. As a little girl, I would sit and dream of what I wanted to be when I grew up. Like all of us, I had romantic dreams of sharing my life with someone fantastic!!! I'm still dreaming. Only now, I write my dreams down in a darkened room with the glow of the computer shining in my face. Not the romantic cast of the moon's light on my tablet, however, still the glow of thoughts and dreams yet unfulfilled.
My thoughts run the gammot of humorous, romantic, erotic, and just plain nonsense. In order to stay true to myself, I have not edited any of these writings. My thoughts are mine to share with you. Enjoy!!
