Headed home.
I've lost my old picutue of whatever this was at the corner of 743 and 103, southeast of Washington. There ought to be a marker. My guess, the remains of a sugarmill.
Maybe an epithamy will come and I'll realize its purpose..
One epithamy that should come to you is this: Adventures do not need to be thousands of miles away. On this site there are over 150 examples of home born adventures. No ride is more than 4 hours away from its souce. None are overnighters. All were interesting to me. You? Maybe. Look in those Contents Pages.
Above is  my imediate neighborhood just looking north. If you take all those roads and put them end to end you'd be in California. Think of it that way. There are 4.3 million miles of roads, streets, alleys, paths, trails and lanes in Louisiana. Explore them.
