| (Jake carries her into the loft, he unlocks the door and when he opens it, there is Roger sitting on the couch) Jake: Roger? How the hell did you get in here? Roger: I have ways, Doc. Greenlee: Daddy... Roger: I see I obviously didn't spike your drink enough. Greenlee: (Her eyes start to tear up) Why would you do this to me? What have I done to you, Daddy. Damn it, tell me. Jake: (Sits Greenlee down on a chair) Roger: Well, you two look like your getting close. Tell me Doc, how can you put up with her? Jake: Roger, I'm calling the police. (Jake calls the police and Roger gets arrested for breaking in and poisening Greens) 3 Hours Later Greenlee is snuggled up against Jake and they are watching a scary movie They fall asleep in each others arms on the couch Morning: (Jake is carressing Greenlee's arm and she wakes up and looks up at him) Greenlee: Jake.. Jake: (smiles) Rise and shine, I have been up about an hour. You sure are a late sleeper. Greenlee: Well why didn't you wake me up? I would have moved up, you know? Jake: I didn't have to do anything important. I know you were tired and you needed some sleep. I enjoyed having you this close to me. Greenlee: (smiles and lays her head back on his chest) I don't know what I would do without you. (She looks back up at him and gives him a kiss, he responds by slipping a little bit of tongue.) Jake: Don't pull away Greenlee Greenlee: You mean this is okay with you? Jake: It's more than okay with me, Greenlee. (They start to kiss passionately, Greenlee strattles him and kisses his chest and moves on up to his lips) (Knock on door) Greenlee: What is it with all the interuptions? (Gets up and answers the door) Greenlee: Leo?! What are you doing here? Leo: (Looks back and sees Jake laying on the couch) Greens, I need to talk to you. (Grabs her arm and pulls her out of the loft) In the hallway- Greenlee: Leo, what do you want? Leo: I can't stop thinking about you. I want to be with you, I need to be with you. Greenlee: You're married. Leo: We can run away together! Remember awhile back ago you said we could go to a tropical place, we can forget everything, everybody, and just consentrate on each other. Greenlee: Leo, I can't forget everyone now, Maybe if you would have asked me a few weeks ago...but I just can't go with you now. Leo: What? Greenlee: I'm sorry, Leo. Leo: Are you trying to tell me that you don't love me anymore? Greenlee: No! I'm not saying that, believe me. I still love you, but I am moving on. I know I can't have you. You're married. I think it is better this way, Leo. (Kisses him) I'm sorry (Walks back into the loft) (Leo follows her, but stops at the door, Leo watches Jake & Greenlee hug and kiss each other) Jake: Are you really over Leo, Greenlee? Greenlee: Yes Jake. Remember I told you that I didn't want to hurt you the way Gillian did? Well I still mean that. I wouldn't be doing this if I was still in love with Leo. A part of me will always love him, but that love just isn't nearly as strong as it use to be. I'm ready to move on. (Jake picks Greenlee up and they go back to the bedroom) The end. |
