The Magician shows an empty Pan, and drops a piece of flash paper inside. The pan is covered , and when it is opened a live Dove or other similar live stock appears. This is of course just one possible effect, as the Dove Pan is a classic Magic Prop. You can use it yo magically " Bake a Cake" or turn an egg into a chicken, and so on.
HERE ARE A FEW ROUTINES
MAGIC GARDEN: Drop some magic seeds (confetti) into the pan. Then put some white or red liquid fertilizer into it from you Milk Jug. Cover the pan allow to seed to germinate and open it. White or red (spring or real) flowers appear inside te pan. If you produce real roses you can distribute these to the spectators. Spring flowers can creat the impression of a much larger volume tha the pan could possibly hold.
BAKING A CAKE: This is an excellent use of this prop, specialty for Birthday party shows. Call a child to help you with this trick. Show the pan empty. Dress the kid with apron and hat like chef. Use a lon apron and a big hat that keps dropping over the young assistant's ees, for some extra laughs. Use a blown edd shell, full of white and yellow confetti. Break the shell and pour the confetti into the pan, calling it a "Dried Egg". You can use other gags, like dropping some spring " flowers" instead of flour in the pan. Add milk from a Milk Jug or Magic Baby feeding bottle, invisible salt etc. for the ingredients. You can embellish the effect with gags like the Break Away Fan, Break Away Wand etc. in your routine. Finally cover the pan and produce the cake. |
