It's burning in my heart

The longing for freedom

Tears me apart

The longing for beauty

Makes me make mistakes

In the search for what is right

For my life

I have a fire burning

Which pushes me forward

To the goal I've set up

To once again see

The landscape I love so

The one which lies there resting

Among the green hills

I want to wander there together with you

Want to enjoy nature's beauty

Tell me my darling

Should we sit down on a blanket

Out here in the free

Open a bottle of wine

And just be together

Want to be struck by the beauty once again

Let me be caught by life

Follow me on this walk

The hills of Tuscany lie there waiting

For us to be caught by love

For us to let loose all which keeps us down

And just live life to the maximum

Want to wake up from this winter sleep

Just want to love you

Just like my heart demands

I'm torn apart by all these torments

I don't dare to hold you

But I really want to

Want to show you how wonderful love can be

I want to return to my beloved Tuscany

I want to sit there under the stars

And enjoy the sweets of life once again
