Winter Moon
Cast a glow on the carpet,
icy as the snow.
The cold dark sky twists around me
as I watch the moon glow.
Wolves know this sign,
high in the sky.
Howling
as the moon phases by.
The owl hoots to
let you know
whether it will stay
or go.
Crystals form in the
deep, dark night.
As prey becomes prey
in the cold winter light.
