School House

The little girl and boy dolls were done by Camille Maher.  I purchased the teacher and student desks, including the chalkboard, globe on stand, and dunce stool  from the same source.  A fellow teacher, Mrs. Florence Wicker, hand-lettered the miniature textbooks, including the McGuffey Readers. Take note of the pot-bellied stove used for heating the one room school!
