Welcome to my little place on the web. One of my passions in life
is quilting. I made my first quilt many, many years ago. It was
a log cabin quilt and so much fun to make. Over the past few years,
I have spent much more time with my quilting and have completed
several quilts for myself, and family members. I have been working
on photographing and uploading the photos to my Web
Shots Photo Album.
Like many quilters, I have several works in progress and many more
UFOs. In quilter's talk, UFO means "unfinished object."
It's the quilts we've begun and haven't finished yet.
An ongoing project that I began in October of 2005, is called a
"Dear Hannah" Quilt, where each block is just 4"
square. I figure it will take me years to complete, since I don't
work on it constantly. You can view my Dear Hannah in progress by
clicking the link to the left.
In spring of 2007, I became interested in beading. I saw so many
beautiful beaded pieces and I thought, "I could do that!"
Since then, I've taken several classes and even began making my
own lampwork beads! On the menu to the left, I've added a link to
my Etsy shop. Etsy is a place where you can buy "all things
handmade." I've even added a little "Mini Etsy" below,
which shows a few of my most recent additions.
Drop me an e-mail if you wish, and thanks for visiting!
