Well folks, just to let you know I�ve spent the last two days sulking. Why? Well I found the perfect flat on Thursday, in the centre of the city, cheap, big bedroom. No toaster, but I could have brought one. Anyhow I call Friday and say that I�ll take it and all is cool I was planning to move in on the 1st of April and would pay a deposit to the landlady. So there I was all ready to put down some money when I get a call from said landlady to say that she has found someone who was going to take the room immediately and that I couldn�t have it. So I spent the rest of Friday sulking about it. Then yesterday when I needed to do some washing I walk all the way across town to my favourite laundomat (a 40min walk) carrying three big bags of washing only to discover that it was CLOSED! and I had to walk all the way back, uphill, with 3 bags of still DIRTY washing. GRRR! So then I spent the rest of Saturday sulking about having to wash my clothes in that disgusting washing machine at the flat. Now I�m over my sulk and back ready to get things going again.
I am not giving up my search for a new room. I need to get out of the place I�m in and into somewhere clean, where I don�t have to spend 3 hours and day washing dishes. On the up side I have had the flat to myself recently. I think the boys went home for the long weekend. The kitchen is nearly spotless. Nearly. I couldn�t get all the grim off the floor, but it is looking pretty good. I will naturally get pissed off when the boys get back and mess it up... Will remind me exactly why I need to find and new place SOON.
Speaking of these things, please anyone if you are intending to mail me (snail mail) and have NOT YET SENT THE LETTER, DO NOT SEND IT! I want to be out of this place by the first of April and I will probably not get any mail you send now. I�ll let you all know when I have a new address.
