Yes folks, it has been snowing here. A week after my flatmate tells me that it never snows because it is too far from the sea, it snows. I think it snowed worst in our region (the north-west) than anywhere else. It was all over the footpaths and the cars. Only the roof-tops of the city centre were snow dusted, but still it was a sight to be seen. Mind you I should have seen it coming. It hasn�t been above 5 degrees C since Monday and I�m freezing something shocking. Great start to the long weekend. Monday and Tuesday are public holidays for Carnaval (basically just an excuse for the adults to play at dress up and get really drunk), but I�m sure there will be lots of photo oppertunities.
In other news I�m headed to Segovia tomorrow with the Foreign Students Association. I plan on taking lots of pictures and doing the tourist thing. After all, I�m expected to do the tourist thing :)
I�m going to talk to Ivan about his girlfriend smoking in the kitchen. I�ve been avoiding using it at all the last couple of days because of the constant smell. It is really getting to me. I can�t prepare food in a place that smells like that! I don�t care if she smokes in the lounge, just not in the only room in the flat that DOESN�T HAVE WINDOWS!
Finally, I�m planning on sneaking my camera into this internet cafe and uploading my pictures no matter what the silly desk person says. I�m at my wits ends at what to do. I see this as the only option.
