This is a BIG ĦHOLA! to Australia. I think I´m getting better and things are certainly looking up for me. My classes have more or less been decided. I´m taking, Spanish Theater, History of Linguistics, Russian and Spanish-Arabian Culture. Russian is going to be easy, and Cultura Hispanoárabe will be sooooo interesting. And my lecturer for Linguistics is really nice and only too willing to help me when my tongue gets tied up around the Spanish language.
In other news I saw another person tiene los ojos azules. He was and Australian Tourist in Salamanca and only too happy to run into another Australian on the other side of the world. We talked a little bit about AFL (I was wearing pa´s CATS scarf at the time) and about heading back to Australia and the nice warm climate there. It seems to be getting warmer, but it doesn´t get above 10 degrees until well after 12 (midday). It ususally makes 15 by sunset and the evenings are much warmer than the mornings. Mind you it was sub-zero at midday on Monday, and lots of cloud cover. Then it warmed up to 16 by 6 o´clock. I think I´m getting better too... My cough is nearly gone (thank goodness), oh and Kay you would be sooo jelous, the writing paper here is gorgeous, the kind of stuff we both like to write on.
I´m dying for vegemite... Oh and I have a postal addy if anyone wants it, please email me and I¨ll send it to you.
