Well folks, it is Santa Semana here in Spain, and let me tell you I am sick to death of tourists. Not only do we have all the internationals here, but all the spanaids as well. Since I attend class in heritage listed buildings the tourists have been everywhere, always getting in the way never apologising for pushing, shoving or making you late to class. And then some silly bint had a baby with her that cried. And did she think to take the bloody thing outside. NO! Of course not. Tourist site, she is allowed her demon off-spring and the right to just let the bloody thing keep crying. I felt like yelling out the window, "Hey lady, shut that thing up, were trying to hold a class in here and we cant here the professor above your brats screaming."
Now I know that this isnt particularly polite, but honestly, you would think that they might have some respect for the fact that Palacio de Anaya is a part of the UNIVERSITY. But Im beginning to think that some people cant READ. Because no matter how big the letters are on the map, or how many signs are around the building, the words UNIVERSITY, QUIET, CLASSES just dont seem to sink in.
Ok, over rant now. Well for the time being anyhow. My latest object of fixation is my bus tickets to Andalusia... Thats right folks, Im off to exotic locations like Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada next week. *GO ME* Ill be spending two days in each city... Isnt that brilliant! Sevilla is first, Monday and Tuesday, then Cordoba Wednesday and Thursday, Granada Friday and Saturday and then back to Salamanca via Sevilla, because a bus doesnt go direct between the Granada and Salamanca. Im travelling with two exchange students: Iulianna from Romania and Leticia from Mexico and Iuliannas sister Cecilla. And it is going to be soooooooo much fun.
