Job Description
Works with Golf and Banquet Committees
- Solicit area
businesses for league sponsorships
Plan and organize the golf tournament
- Recruit team reps
and players to help on the committee
- Solicit area businesses
for banquet prizes
- Arrange for golf
and banquet facilities
- Promote the
tournament directly to the players and through the team reps
- Tickets - print,
distribute and collect money
- Arrange arrival,
tee and dinner times
- M/C the banquet and
prizes etc.
- Provide financial
reports
- Make
recommendations for improvements
Plan and organize the year end banquet
- Recruit team reps
and players to help on the committee
- Purchase Liquor
Permit
- Banquet tickets -
print, distribute, collect money and unsold tickets
- Solicit area
businesses for banquet prizes
- Have team reps
solicit area businesses and team players for prizes
- Ask team sponsors
if and what they will be donating
- Assist with the
purchase of beer, wine and liquor
- Purchase supplies
and munchies etc
- Arrange for the
entertainment.
- Arrange for the
food and bartenders
- Assist with the
purchase of league and door prizes
- Coordinate getting
the liquor, prizes, supplies and munchies etc to the hall.
- Coordinate the
table set up, wine and munchies to the tables etc.
- Staff the Entrance
Table, 50/50 draw and two prize draws.
- Coordinate the
removal of leftover beer, wine, liquor, food and supplies
- Coordinate payment
for the hall and food as well as booking for the following year
- Provide financial
reports
- Make recommendations
for improvements
