Yankton, day 39

We knew we would try to see Del as we passed through Yankton, but when we got there, we decided to stay a couple nights. Del's Mary passed away in January, and he welcomed our company. We parked the rig in his yard and set about to have a couple days of great exploring and conversation with Del. Our first evening, Del invited Lauren to a game of pool. In his younger years, pool was a pasttime for Del. He's not lost his edge.

Del gave us the grand tour of Yankton. Yankton has everything a person would ever want, including a wonderful recreation area with acres of trails and camping sites along the Missouri and the Lewis & Clark recreation area. The campgrounds filled up for this Memorial Day weekend.
