South from Grand Marais, day 32

We're back in the US. This means vacation time is coming to an end. We'll stay about a week here in Minnesota, parked in the yard of brother and wife.

Shortly after we leave Canada, we stumble onto another little hike into the woods -- and we can't resist. This one is only about a mile round trip, but it leads through a beautiful wooded hillside and we are glad we took the time to explore this little bit more of wooded trail.

We have A-1 hookups here in Oak Grove. Brother Lyle hooks us up with phone and cable tv, runs water and electricity for us. Such a deal!

Tomorrow, Lyle and Mary Ann are off to the Lake, leaving us to ourselves. I'll have hours to spend on a real telephone, dialoging with my computer at work, while Lauren takes care of cleaning the car and the bikes and doing RV chores. Sunday, we'll go to the church where Lauren and his family attended during his growing-up years. We'll rest and catch up with ourselves a little before beginning the journey home.
