Terrace Bay, day 30

At 10:00 at night, there is still some daylight. It makes for a nice long day. Sunshine somehow makes you forget you should sleep.

We were lucky to make good time today -- no rains, no high winds, just a little fog and lots of smooth driving. We stop early enough to have a nice hike in the woods to the waterfalls at Aguasabon where the river dumps into Lake Superior. No mosquitoes. We begin to see that there are snowmobile trails everywhere, as well as wonderful hiking trails. We become aware of the many trails that surround Lake Superior. What a lovely vacationland.

This will be our last Canadian night. We will miss it. We want to come back some day.
