I successfully passed my baccalaureat Economique et Social Option Europeenne in June 2001 and achieved a " mention bien" ! For those who don't know, the baccalaureat is the French equivalent of the A level or the Leaving Certificate. And the "mention bien" would be an equivalent of "honours" or "with distintion" I suppose.
I started college in October 2001. I am doing a "bi-deug Droit-Anglais", it's a rather prestigious course that only a few universities do. I do a regular Law course, but also have English lessons. Last year I had classes about English law and British History. This year it'll be the same but I'll study the American system instead of the British one.
