Can we claim a prejudice for being born ?
Send me your messages !
Well in France you can. Recently, handicaped children were given money by the highest Court of the country because their handicap had not been forecasted during the examination prior to the birth. In other words, a handicaped child can sue his parents for not having aborted him. And he can be given money as a compensation for being alive. We are now pricing life in France. How clever is that ?
I'm not sure this is gonna help handicaped people to integrate the society. On the contrary, it's like stating they are, second-class citizens and throwing money at their faces because they exist. What a crime it is indeed, to live.
Most of the associations helping those people agree that this judgement is an insult. Who are we to decide who's worth living and who's not ? After all people make children, they want a child, they know they are going to have a baby, not a designed doll with the hair colour they want and the school results they want. We should learn to accept that we cannot, and should not control everything. Giving life is the most beautiful thing in the world, God gives life . We just make love, hoping we will be given a baby. Nature has a role to play, and it's about time that people gave up their hopes to have a perfect child.

I think I'm too fat. Surely I should go to a French court and sue my parents for not making me slimmer and not giving me nicer hair. Or worse for not having aborted  me. Life is not worth living with extra kilos and bad-looking hair !
Any body tell me how much money is naturally  nice hair worth ? This stupidity is what we're heading for. And nobody seems to care. :-((
And maybe tomorrow my parents will sue the physician who didn't warn them that I was going to have acne spots when I reach teenage. It is indeed a handicap and not a small one, when you think of all the money spent on dermatologist visits and drugs of all kind to get rid of the nasty spots.

To all the handicaped people, I love you, and I'm happy you live ! And well done to your parents who had the guts to accept the gift God gave them, even if it was unexpected, and if it gave them a totally different life from the one they had hoped for.
