Limestone City Wrestling presents:
Disturbing Behaviour - December 21, 2001
From: The Igloo, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Attendance: Sold out!
Announcer: Jimmy Williams
Interviews: Matthew Kile, Jules Winfield, and John "the Gator" Cole
Ring Announcer: Raymond Albright
Dark Match Report:
"Sassy" Stephanie vs. Jane Wannabe: Jane came to the ring as "Pineapple Spears." The two women battled in and out of the ring, ending the match by both ladies getting counted out in 14:27.
STEALTH vs. The Shadow: The Shadow kept STEALTH off his feet most of the match with bone-crunching suplexes, but STEALTH was able to catch The Shadow by surprise, hitting a STEALTH Bomber for the pin in 18:45.
The screen goes black as the last commercial ends. White letters come up on the screen,
reading simply: "WARNING: The following program may be unsuitable for some viewers. Discretion
is advised." This is replaced by an LCW logo. The opening bars of "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed begin to play. The logo begins to beat like a heart, getting bigger and bigger, eventually engulfing the screen.]
Drowning deep in my sea of loathing
Broken your servant I kneel
It seems what's left of my human side
Is slowly changing in me ...
Looking at my own reflection
When suddenly it changes
Violently it changes (oh no)
There is no turning back now
You've woken up the demon in me!
[At this point, the logo "explodes" into many pieces which litter the screen. The pieces begin to spin erratically. Randomly the spinning pieces shoot towards the screen, each one containing a clip from the LCW's past.]
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Open up your hate, and let it flow into me
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
You mother get up, come on get down with the sickness
You fucker get up, come on get down with the sickness
Madness is the gift, that has been given to me!
[The final clip, one of Johnny Wannabe regaining the World Heavyweight Title from "The Natural" Mike Bell, flashes onto the screen before it fades to shots of the crowd. Several crowd shots fill the screen, then one finally of the announcer, Jimmy Williams.]
Jimmy: Hello everyone, we're live here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the famed Igloo, the home of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. What an exciting past few days we've had, with the World Television and World Heavyweight Titles being held up after the Lethal Lottery Pay Per View, then handed out last week at Disturbing Behaviour to the holders of the World Tag Team Titles, Team Danger! "The King of Pain" Stephen Greer is scheduled to defend his title here tonight, against one of his greatest nemeses, "The Southwestern Icon" Stephen Greer! But that's not until the end of the night! Tonight, starting things off, "MIR" Bruce Nichol, Jack "The Ripper" and The Unibomber have been given a chance to work out the issues they've had with each other as of late. However, in an interview shown exclusively on the LCW Promotional Channel, they revealed that they really don't have much interest in properly facing each other, so we may be in for a simple workout. Following that, the Hardcore Title is up for grabs, as fast rising star Grim Reaper faces champion Angel of Death in a Caged Stairway to Hell match. After that, Wealth and Power are competing in their last match before retiring, competing against The Wannabes. Wealth and Power have stated on a couple of occasions that if they failed to win the World Tag Team Titles by the end of this year, they would retire. They had a few good chances, but just barely failed to grab the brass ring. We wish them the best of luck in the future. But enough talk, let's get down to business!
[Cut to backstage, where a green 1999 Ford Econoline Van pulls up. Out of the driver's seat climbs Cindy, the new valet for World Tag Team Champions Team Danger. Out of the back step World Television Champion "The King of Pain" Stephen Greer and his tag team partner, World Heavyweight Champion "The Extreme Franchise" Tyrone Walker. They carry their bags towards the locker room area. Cut to the luxury office of LCW Commissioner Joe Hoffman.]
LCW Commish: Ladies and gentlemen, since "MIR" Bruce Nichol and Blood Brothers have made their intentions for their scheduled match well known, we here in the LCW Front Offices have decided that the match they have planned is not in the best interests of our broadcast, as it won't contain the level of competition we promised the audience, and the fans watching at home. Therefore, it is the decision of the LCW Front Office to cancel the match, and move forward with the show.
[Cut to a shot of the dressing room of "MIR" Bruce Nichol and Blood Brothers. All three men are standing around a monitor, watching the preceeding message. All three are furious. Cut to Jimmy.]
Jimmy: Well, it seems as if the plans have been changed for MIR and Blood Brothers. I guess it's time for the ring crew to attach the cage to the ring, I can see a barbed wire wrapped kendo stick hanging from the ceiling, so I guess that is going to be the weapon of choice in the Stairway to Hell portion of the match. We're going to commercial, but when we come back, it'll be time for the Hardcore Title match!
[-- Commercial Break --] Limestone City Wrestling would like to wish everyone a heartfelt Happy Holidays. Enjoy the week off, and hopefully in the new year we can work a bit harder to get the LCW back up to speed. See you next year! [--]
[Fade in from commercial to the entryway.]
Hardcore Title Caged Stairway to Hell Match: Grim Reaper vs. Angel of Death (c)
Ray: This contest is a Caged Stairway to Hell match, scheduled for one fall. It is for the Hardcore Title!
[The house lights go out, and a single spotlight shines on the entranceway.]
Ray: Introducing first, from parts unknown, here is Grim Reaper!
[Grim Reaper appears in the spotlight, and it follows him as he makes his way down to the ring, and into the cage. The opening beats of "Angel of Death" by Slayer test the subwoofers in the arena as the house lights go dark. A single white spotlight focuses on the entranceway, where Angel of Death stands, his head bowed, his shoulder length hair fallen in his face, and his arms outstretched ever so slightly, palms raised in a sign of benevolence. On the screen, a picture of the statue that stands between Angel of Death's parent's graves is shown, looking very much like AOD, in the same position. His wife and valet Black Widow steps from backstage, dressed in a long black dress with a web motif, wearing the LCW World Women's Title, and carrying his sledgehammer. She puts her hand lightly on his shoulder, and he flips his head up, sending his hair back behind him, and they make their way to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope as she climbs the ringsteps. He holds the ropes open for her, and she quickly climbs into the ring. They stand in the center of the ring, united, as shots of red pyro shoot from the corners of the ring, and from either side of the entranceway.]
Ray: His opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he weighs in at 185 pounds. Introducing, already in the ring, here is Angel of Death!
[AOD slumps into the nearest corner as the referees put a ladder in one of the neutral corners, then close and lock the cage, with one referee remaining in the cage.]
Jimmy: Because this match only ends with a pinfall or submission, a referee must be in the cage with them. The bell sounds as champion and challenger lock up roughly. The veteran, AOD, quickly rolls through the tieup, locking on a leg stretch. Grim Reaper struggles to the ropes, but as this is a hardcore match, that doesn't break the hold. Grim Reaper breaks the hold with a thumb to the eye of AOD. AOD backs off slightly, allowing Grim Reaper to get back to his feet. They lock up again, and this time the challenger gets the advantage, surprising AOD with a leg trip takedown. AOD rolls through it, flipping Grim Reaper over. Grim Reaper lands on his feet as AOD gets back to his. Grim Reaper rushes in, but AOD takes him down with an armdrag. Grim Reaper back on his feet again, rushing in yet again.
[AOD goes for a hiptoss, but it's blocked. Grim Reaper hits a hiptoss of his own, bringing AOD crashing to the mat. AOD gets back to his feet, and they dive back into a lockup.]
Jimmy: AOD with an irish whip towards the ladder now, it's reversed, and the champion hits the ladder hard! It comes loose, and crashes down across the back of AOD! Grim Reaper capitalizes, quickly climbing to the second rope behind them, and coming off it with a legdrop that hits the ladder, driving it again into the back of AOD. AOD rolls on the mat, clutching his back as Grim Reaper takes the ladder, and sets it up under the kendo stick. He begins to climb the ladder as AOD gets back to his feet. AOD clibms up the other side of the ladder, and they begin to trade punches, each one trying to knock the other off the ladder. AOD jumps off the ladder, pulling it sideways with him, preventing Grim Reaper from reaching the kendo stick. AOD takes the ladder, folds it up, and puts it over his head. Grim gets back to his feet. AOD swings the ladder around, slamming it into Grim Reaper's head! He's busted open! Grim Reaper staggers back towards the corner as AOD sets up the ladder under the kendo stick again. He begins to climb as Grim Reaper climbs the ropes. Grim Reaper uses the cage to walk along the ropes, stopping across from the ladder. AOD is about half way up the ladder when Grim Reaper launches off the ropes with a dropkick that hits AOD square in the midsection! Both men tumble to the mat, and the ladder stays standing! AOD to his feet first, followed by Grim Reaper!
[AOD grabs Grim Reaper by the head, whipping him backwards into the cage. He then steps over the challenger, raining lefts down on his forehead. He pauses, looks at the crowd, then starts again. He pauses a second time, looks at the crowd with a wicked smile on his face, then pummels Grim Reaper a third time before leaving the challenger on the mat.]
Jimmy: AOD turning his attention now to the ladder once again, satisfied that Grim Reaper is dealt with sufficiently for him to get to the top of the ladder. He begins his ascent, and since Grim Reaper is still reeling from the shots to the head, I think AOD has a clear road to the kendo stick. I am right, as AOD reaches the top of the ladder, and retrieves the barbed wire wrapped kendo stick from the hook. Grim Reaper struggles to his feet, and AOD leaps off the ladder, nailing Grim Reaper in the head with the kendo stick. Grim Reaper falls back against the ropes. AOD raises the kendo stick for another hit when Grim Reaper nails him with a low blow. AOD drops the kendo stick, allowing Grim Reaper to pick it up. He brings it across the back of AOD once, twice, three times, he's still going! AOD struggling to get away, but he can't! Four, five, six times now ... AOD is reeling in pain! He turns, and Grim Reaper catches him square in the face! AOD goes down fast! Grim Reaper climbs the ladder, he's reached the top, what's he going to do? Oh my God! A legdrop from off the ladder, and he's making the cover! (One, Two, THREE!!)
[Grim Reaper gets to his feet, and the referee raises his arm in victory. The Hardcore Title is brought into the cage, and handed to Grim Reaper as he leaves the ring. Black Widow hurries into the ring, and helps AOD back to the back as we cut to Jimmy.]
Jimmy: What a gruelling match! In the end, the barbed wire kendo stick was enough to finish AOD. Of course, it took several hits with it before AOD was able to be pinned. In any event, the ring crew have to disassemble the cage now, before Wealth and Power can compete in their last match before retiring. I can't wait!
[Cut to the back, where Damien G. White III, Carlos Cula and Opal are seen in their dressing room. The three of them seem to be strategizing over the next match. Cut to the dressing room of the Wannabes as Jack and Jesse decide what characters to use. Cut back to the entranceway.]
Wealth & Power vs. The Wannabes
Ray: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, with a twenty minute time limit.
[On the big screen is a flashing dollar sign. Alternated with Damien G. White III. They flash about every 5 seconds. "Money Talks" by AC/DC hits and a green spotlight with a white dollar sign comes to the entranceway. He follows it to the ring and jumps over the top rope.]
Ray: Introducing first, from Wall Street, he weighs in at 240 pounds. Already in the ring, accompanied by Opal, here is Damien G. White the Third!
[White poses for the crowd as various fight sequences are flashing on the big screen. "The Fight Song" by Marilyn Manson comes on the PA. Carlos Cula comes out from the back. He stops at the top of the entrance ramp and flexes his muscles. He poeses for 30 seconds or so and then slowly walks to the ring. He rolls under the bottom rope and stands behind Damien with his arms crossed.]
Ray: His partner, from Las Vegas, Nevada, he weighs in at 345 pounds. Joining his partner in the ring, also accompanied by Opal, here is Carlos Cula!
[White, Cula and Opal pose for the fans as "Pretty Fly" by The Offspring hits the air to a chorus of boos.]
Ray: Their opponents, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, they weigh in at a combined weight of 470 pounds. Making their way to the ring, here are "Sledge" and "Chris", better known as Jack and Jesse, the Wannabes!
[Jack and Jesse run to the ring, each imitating their chosen character. They go to their corner, and discuss who should start the match.]
Jimmy: It seems that "Chris" and Carlos are starting things out here. Chris goes for a dropkick, but Cula sidesteps it. Cula with a clothesline, but it's ducked. Cula hits the ropes, and comes back fast. Chris drops to his belly on the mat as Cula hops over him. Cula hits the opposite ropes and comes back just as quick. He ducks down as Chris jumps over him. Cula hits the ropes once more, and this time on the rebound Chris catches him with a flying headscissor takedown. Cula rolls to his feet as Chris rushes in. Chris with a swinging neckbreaker. Cula rolls out of the way of an elbowdrop, and comes back with a kick to the midsection. He goes for a powerbomb, but Chris reverses it into a hurricarana. Chris holds onto Cula's leg. (One, Two, Kickout!) Cula powers out of the pin, and Chris scrambles for his corner. Cula bounces on the ropes opposite the Wannabes' corner. Sledge enters the ring as Cula pushes off of the ropes, heading in fast with a lariat. Sledge ducks, and hits Cula with a strong superkick on the way back. Cula drops like a sack of potatoes.
[Cula rolls out of the ring. Sledge grabs the top rope, and springboards over it, hitting Cula with a cross body block. Sledge and Chris begin stomping on Cula, prompting Damien White to head over to make the save. Both men back off, with Sledge sliding back into the ring. White helps Cula to his feet, and around the ring closer to their corner. Cula slides back into the ring as White gets back on the ring apron.]
Jimmy: A little bit of strategy here as Cula slides back into the ring right in front of White. They make the tag, and White and Sledge dive into a lockup. Sledge with a side headlock, but White pushes him off. Sledge hits the ropes as White bends for a back body drop. Sledge counters with a sunset flip. (One, Two, Kickout!) White nails Sledge with a falling neckbreaker, then follows with a legdrop to the throat. Sledge writhes in pain as White picks him up by the hair. Sledge is whipped into the corner, and White hits a running elbowsmash right afterwards. Sledge slumps in the corner. White kicks him in the midsection, then lifts him up in a powerbomb position. Oh my GOD! White powerbombed Sledge onto the top turnbuckle! That's got to rattle his brains! He makes the cover! (One, Two, Chris breaks the pin) A close one for the Wannabes there! Cula in the ring now, chasing Chris out of the ring. Both Chris and Cula out of the ring now, brawling on the outside. In the ring, White picks up the shaken Sledge, and nails him with a pumphandle slam. He locks Sledge in the Money Maker figure four leglock! He pulls on Sledge's leg, putting on the pressure! Sledge is tapping! He's tapping out! This match is over!
[White lets go of Sledge, and the referee raises his hand. Cula and Chris stop their brawl as "Money Talks" by AC/DC hits the air again, signalling the end of the match. Cula and Opal join White at the aisle while Chris tends to his brother. Cut to Jimmy.]
Jimmy: Well, Wealth and Power have won their retirement match here in the LCW, and we all wish them the best of luck. And with that match in the record books, all that remains now is the Main Event! What are we waiting for?
[-- Commercial Break --] Don't forget, the LCW resumes operation right after the new year with a show on January 4th! The lineup will be posted as soon as this show is up, so if you're reading this, the new lineup should be in your inbox and on the site! Go take a look! [--]
[We return from commercial with a shot of "Sassy" Stephanie helping her husband "The Southwestern Icon" Texas Lightning warm up for his match. The crowd gives a slightly mixed reaction to this. Cut to a shot of "The King of Pain" Stephen Greer, "The Extreme Franchise" Tyrone Walker and Cindy as they prepare for Greer's title defence, and the crowd erupts in a huge chorus of boos. Cut to the entranceway.]
World Television Title Match: "The Southwestern Icon" Texas Lightning vs. "The King of Pain" Stephen Greer (c)
Ray: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with television time remaining. It is for the World Television Title.
[He comes out to "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC; he comes and stands at the rampway out to the sounds of the thunder in the early moments of the song. As the lyrics begin, Lightning appears on the ramp way to the support of the fans. Along the way to the ring, he poses several times and slaps hands with the fans.]
Ray: Introducing first, from Nacogdoches, Texas, he weighs in at 246 pounds. Making his way to the ring, led by "Sassy" Stephanie, here is "The Southwestern Icon" Texas Lightning!
[TL and Sassy climb into the ring and pose for the fans. The crowd reaction sours, however, as Blaze Ya Dead Homie's "Casket" booms over the PA System and the lights flicker. The curtains open and "King Of Pain" Stephen Greer steps out. Greer is wearing black Dickies, a pair of black Converse All-Stars and a black Psychopathic Records baseball jersey with red and silver accents. He is sporting a black Raiders cap turned off to one side and has two red bandanas hanging from his waist. His face is painted a subtle shade of white with streaks of blood going down one side of his head.]
In the casket
HELL YEAH!
(Fuck, buried six feet deep!)
In the casket
HELL YEAH!
(Fuck, buried six feet deep!)
In the casket
HELL YEAH!!
[Greer slowly walks down the aisle and it can now be seen that he is carrying his half of the LCW World Tag Team Titles in his right hand and the LCW World Television Title in his left hand. He stops and plays to the crowd before he dashes down the aisle and slides under the bottom rope. He springs to his feet and holds the title belt over his head.]
"Do you wanna know about the box
A casket with padlocks
Broken off the hinge, bitch, eat a cock
Buried in the earth then forgotten about
Feelin' good like a mothafucka first day out"
[Greer throws the belts to the timekeeper and walks to the corner, looking out at the crowd.]
Ray: His opponent, from Detroit, Michgan, he weighs in at 236 pounds. Making his way to the ring, accompanied by his tag team partner, World Heavyweight Champion "The Extreme Franchise" Tyrone Walker, and Cindy, here is "The King of Pain" Stephen Greer!
[Greer raises his hands in the air to the booing crowd. Texas Lightning attacks him from behind before the bell.]
Jimmy: TL getting in the first strike while Greer was posing for the crowd. Greer stumbles against the corner as TL follows the initial attack with a series of forearms to the back of the head. Greer counters with a back heel kick that catches TL low. TL backs off, allowing Greer out of the corner. TL and Greer dive into a strong collar and elbow. There is plenty of history between Stephen Greer and Texas Lightning, both in and out of the LCW. TL with a hiptoss, but Greer is back on his feet quick. Greer takes TL down with an armdrag. TL gets back to his feet just as quickly. Greer goes for a hiptoss, but TL blocks it, barring Greer's arm as a counter. TL tugs on Greer's arm, putting him into position to drop him with a DDT. TL flips Greer over for a pin, but doesn't even get a one count as Greer immediately slips out of the pin.
[Greer backs away from TL, looking for some sort of strategy. TL does the same, causing the two of them to begin circling each other.]
Jimmy: After that flurry of offence on both sides, neither man is willing to make any more mistakes. They dive once more into a lockup, and Greer shoots TL into the ropes. Greer goes for a back body drop, but TL counters with a kick to the head. Greer stands slightly and TL grabs him by the head, taking him down with a bulldog. TL picking Greer up by the head, and Greer comes back with a punch to the midsection. Greer picks TL up across his shoulders, it looks like he's going for a death valley driver! No! TL slips off his back, and puts him in a hammerlock! Oh my God! A hammerlock bodyslam! I haven't seen one of them in a long time! Greer rolls out of the way from TL, and dives back into a lockup once he's back on his feet. Greer hits a kneelift, which doubles over TL. Greer capitalizes, he's getting TL in position! Greer hits the Broken Wingz! (One, Two, Kickout!)
[Greer is shocked, as are Cindy and Walker. Greer picks up TL by the head, and throws him outside, right in front of Walker and Cindy.]
Jimmy: Greer looking to enlist some outside help, but it looks like Cindy is determined to make this a fair match! She's between TL and Walker! Ty Walker is being prevented from attacking Texas Lightning! TL gets to his feet. He gets onto the ring apron, and Greer catches him. Greer brings TL back into the ring with a vertical suplex. TL is reeling, as Greer pulls him to his feet. It looks like TL has nothing left, and that's exactly what Greer hits him with! The inverted russian legsweep takes TL crashing to the mat! Greer rolls him over, and covers! (One, Two, THREE!!)
[The bell sounds as Walker heads into the ring with Greer's World Tag Team and World Television Titles. He hands them both to his tag team partner while Cindy climbs into the ring. Sassy rolls TL out of the ring, and begins to head to the locker rooms. Suddenly, the lights go out in the arena, and red pyro goes off at the entranceway. When the lights come back on, both Greer and Walker have been knocked down, and Cindy is crouched in the corner, screaming in terror. Fade to credits.]
