Disturbing Behaviour - April 12, 2002
Attendance: Sold out!
Announcer: Jimmy Williams
Interviews: Matthew Kile, Jules Winfield, and John "the Gator" Cole
Ring Announcer: Raymond Albright
Dark Match Report:
"The Shooter" Samantha Buka vs. Sassy Stephanie: Sassy Stephanie was caught by surprise at the 10:24 mark, as Samantha Buka locked on the Tequila Sunrise, getting the submission.
The End vs. The Wannabes: Carlos Cula entered the ring at 11:41 in the match, assisting Damien G. White III in landing a super powerbomb on Jack Wannabe, getting the win for The End.
The screen goes black as the last commercial ends. White letters come up on the screen,
reading simply: "WARNING: The following program may be unsuitable for some viewers. Discretion
is advised." This is replaced by an LCW logo. The opening bars of "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed begin to play. The logo begins to beat like a heart, getting bigger and bigger, eventually engulfing the screen.]
Drowning deep in my sea of loathing
Broken your servant I kneel
It seems what's left of my human side
Is slowly changing in me ...
Looking at my own reflection
When suddenly it changes
Violently it changes (oh no)
There is no turning back now
You've woken up the demon in me!
[At this point, the logo "explodes" into many pieces which litter the screen. The pieces begin to spin erratically. Randomly the spinning pieces shoot towards the screen, each one containing a clip from the LCW's past.]
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Open up your hate, and let it flow into me
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
You mother get up, come on get down with the sickness
You fucker get up, come on get down with the sickness
Madness is the gift, that has been given to me!
[The final clip, one of "The Extreme Franchise" Tyrone Walker winning the World Heavyweight Title from Johnny Wannabe, flashes onto the screen before it fades to shots of the crowd. Several crowd shots fill the screen, then one finally of the announcer, Jimmy Williams.]
Jimmy: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to another edition of LCW Disturbing Behaviour! Last week we returned to television with four important title matches. Tonight, there is no titles on the line, but the #1 contendership to both of the new Unified Titles is up for grabs in our double main event as "The Southwestern Icon" Texas Lightning takes on STEALTH for a shot at the Unified Television Title and "the two Jacobs," "The Sasquatch" Jacob Lawrence and "Reverend" Jakob McLean battle it out for the shot at the Unified World Title! To warm things up, however, we also have Good Intentions facing The Chaos Factor and "MIR" Bruce Nichol going one on one with Johnny Wannabe. It's going to be an action packed show, so don't miss a second of it!
[ -- Commercial Break -- ] A friend of mine emailed me with an idea that quite frankly has intrigued me. I've done some thinking about it, and now I'd like your input. The question is quite simple ... should I close the LCW, and start another e-fed from scratch? Email me at [email protected] and let me know your thoughts. [ -- ]
[Upon return from the commercial break, we are treated to a shot of the backstage area, where Good Intentions and "Reverend" Jakob McLean are warming up for their matches tonight. Switch the scene to a view of The Chaos Factor and STEALTH, who are also warming up for tonight. Finally, cut to a shot of the ring, where Ray Albright awaits his cue to begin.]
Ray: The following is a tag team contest, scheduled for one fall.
[Church bells begin to ring out through the arena to a mixture of boos and cheers.]
Ray: Introducing first, led to the ring by The Repenter, here are Father Superior and Purgatory, the team of Good Intentions!
[Father Superior and Purgatory, with the comparitively little Repenter just in front of them, walk slowly to the ring. As they climb between the ropes, "My Generation" by Limp Bizkit blares over the speakers, and the lights drop to black.]
Ray: Their opponents, representing The Apocalypse, led to the ring by "Sexy" Staci Seymour, here are Lunatic and Destruction, The Chaos Factor!
[The crowd begins to boo lustily as Staci and The Chaos Factor make their way to the ring.]
Good Intentions vs. The Chaos Factor
Jimmy: This is certainly going to be an exciting match as both of these teams are deep in the hunt for the World Tag Team Titles. It looks as if Father Superior and Lunatic are starting things off here tonight, both men eager to get things going. A series of punches, traded between the two behemoths in the ring. Lunatic gets hit with a vicious clothesline, getting sent over the top rope to the floor. Father Superior poses for the mixed crowd, mocking Lunatic on the outside. Destruction enters the ring, attacking Father Superior. He turns Father Superior around, and Lunatic grabs Father Superior's legs from the outside as Dextruction bulldogs Father Superior hard into the canvas. Lunatic slides back into the ring as the referee escorts Destruction back to his corner. Lunatic attempts an elbowdrop, but hits only mat as Father Superior rolls out of the way. Father Superior gets to his feet and waits for Lunatic to do the same. Once Lunatic is on his feet, Father Superior catches him with a hard scoop slam, then a quick double stomp to the chest. Lunatic clutches for his ribs as Father Superior picks him up by the head. Father Superior lifts up Lunatic, then drops him into a rib breaker. Lunatic cries out in pain as Father Superior lifts him up again. This time, Father Superior goes for a backbreaker, but Lunatic hits him in the back of the head with his elbow. Lunatic drops Father Superior to the mat with a DDT. Lunatic follows up by wrapping Father Superior's head up with a leg-scissors. Father Superior struggles to get free, but Lunatic just tightens the hold. Lunatic reaches out, grabbing the ropes for extra leverage while the referee checks Father Superior.
[Father Superior breaks free as Lunatic holds the ropes. Father Superior gets to his feet and grabs Lunatics legs. He pulls hard, jerking Lunatic high in the air and dropping him to the mat.]
Jimmy: Lunatic hit hard, and Father Superior covers! (One, Two, Kickout!) Father Superior picking up Lunatic now, whipping him into the ropes. Lunatic flips himself over the ropes, sliding back in right next to Destruction as Father Superior gives chase. Destruction with the tag. Destruction levels Father Superior with a horrific lariat. Father Superior gets to one knee, and Destruction pulls him to his feet. Destruction with an inside cradle, (One, Two, Kickout), Destruction whips Father Superior into the corner. Destruction warming up, revving the engines, then running full tilt into the corner! No one is there! Father Superior slipped out of the way, and is tagging in Purgatory! The big man is in! Destruction is still reeling from the missed avalanche, and Purgatory capitalizes by repeatedly slamming Destruction's head into the turnbuckle. Destruction drops backwards onto the mat. Purgatory picks up Destruction, dragging him over to the corner where Father Superior is waiting. Father Superior tags in. Purgatory picks up Destruction and hits a pendulum backbreaker, which he holds. Father Superior climbs the ropes, then comes crashing down with an elbowdrop! Their version of the Demolition Decapitation! Oh my GOD! Father Superior makes the cover! (One, Two ...) Lunatic enters the ring to make the save, but Purgatory cuts him off. (THREE!!!)
[Lunatic and Purgatory brawl in the corner as Father Superior gets to his feet. Father Superior joins in the battle as referees pour from the back to separate the men.]
Jimmy: Well, it seems that the tag team division is as fierce as ever, as we see Good Intentions and The Chaos Factor have just turned up the intensity another billion notches or so. Speaking of intensity levels, Johnny Wannabe has been sulking around the locker rooms lately, bemoaning his recent lack of success in the ring. "MIR" Bruce Nichol, on the other hand, hasn't had the best of luck, but he hasn't had the losing streak that Wannabe has had. One of them will be victorious, and their match is next!
[Quick cut to the entranceway, as Ray Albright's voice plays over the image.]
Ray: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.
[Darkness spreads through out most of the arena as the speakers crackle to life. An approaching wave of music can be sensed coming closer and closer through the speakers as the crowd prepares themselves for it.]
Ray: Introducing first, Saint Joseph, Northwest Territories, he weighs in at 225 pounds. Making his way to the ring, here is "MIR" Bruce Nichol!
[MIR makes his way to the ring slowly, avoiding all contact with the fans along the aisle. He climbs into the ring, walks to his corner, and begins warming up. "Pretty Fly" by The Offspring hits the air to a loud chorus of boos.]
Ray: His opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, he weighs in at 240 pounds. Making his way to the ring, here is Johnny Wannabe!
[Johnny Wannabe walks from the back dressed in street clothes, instead of one of his characters.]
"MIR" Bruce Nichol vs. Johnny Wannabe
Jimmy: Wannabe stepping into the ring as the bell sounds. MIR rushes in with a standing dropkick that nearly misses the side-stepping Wannabe. MIR quickly on his feet again, this time catching Wannabe with a forearm shiver before whipping him into the ropes. Wannabe reverses, sending MIR hard into the corner. MIR comes back quickly, but Johnny Wannabe surprises him with an inside cradle. (One, Two, THREE!!)
[Wannabe releases MIR after the three count, and MIR quickly gets to his feet, a look of pure fury on his face. It's obvious that something is up, since the referee has a sheepish look on his face as if to say "there was nothing I could do!" MIR and Wannabe stare each other down.]
Jimmy: MIR is extremely irate, he's yelling something at Wannabe about "that's not the way it was supposed to happen" ... I wonder what's going on. Wannabe turns to leave, his face has been like stone this whole time. MIR grabs Wannabe by the arm, Wannabe glares at him, tells him not to do it again. He turns again, but MIR whips him around again. Wannabe just punched MIR in the head! MIR is down, and looks like he's out! The referees are back again, and some of them are escorting Wannabe to the back while the others deal with the now unconscious MIR. I think we need to go to commercial.
[ -- Commercial Break -- ] Coming soon, to the LCW Website ... a special link, which will be emailed to you, featuring a picture of Adam's daughter, Michayla! Just for those who wish to take a look! [ -- ]
[We return from commercial to a shot of Johnny Wannabe arguing with a road agent in the back. We then cut to the entranceway, and a voiceover from Ray Albright.]
Ray: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the #1 contendership to the Unified Television Title. Introducing first, from Nacogdoches, Texas, he weighs in at 244 pounds, here is "The Southwestern Icon" Texas Lightning!
["The Hunter" by GTR echoes through the arena as Texas Lightning steps from the back, doing a slight imidation of Mick Foley's "Bang Bang" act as he comes down to the ring. He poses several times and slaps hands with the fans along the way. As he climbs into the ring, flashbulbs go off all around the arena.]
Ray: His opponent, from Parts Unknown, he weighs in at 270 pounds. Making his way to the ring, here is STEALTH!
[The lights go out and fans begin to cheer. "The Unforgiven II" by Metallica starts and the fans are going NUTS. Just as the intro goes into the music, fireworks explode in the ring and from the rafters. STEALTH then is lowered from the ceiling to a spot in the crowd. His arms are raised in the air as he hits the floor. He unclips himself and slowly walks to the ring. With red strobe-lights flashing, STEALTH enters the ring and stands in the centre. He throws his arms into the air and red fireworks erupt from the four turnbuckles as well as the rafters! When the fireworks fade, the lights come up and the music fades out!]
Main Event #1: "The Southwestern Icon" Texas Lightning vs. STEALTH
Jimmy: This should be an exciting match between two of the LCW's most legendary performers. The bell rings and they lock up roughly. Both men are vying for the upper hand early in this matchup. STEALTH powers out of the lockup, kicking TL in the midsection. TL comes back with a right hand to the jaw that staggers STEALTH. STEALTH returns with a vicious lariat that brings both men to the mat. TL rolls away from STEALTH before getting to his feet. STEALTH rises to a vertical base. TL runs at STEALTH, but STEALTH counters with a powerslam. A quick cover. (One, Kickout!)
[STEALTH pulls TL up by the head, but TL stops him with an elbow buried in the midsection. STEALTH, doubled over, proves an easy mark for a quick powerbomb. STEALTH rolls out of the ring. TL follows him, and STEALTH retaliates by kicking TL in the knee, then the midsection. A snapmare brings TL a bit further from the ring before STEALTH climbs back in.]
Jimmy: TL follows STEALTH back into the ring. STEALTH goes for a punch to the head, but TL ducks it, dodging to the side to hit a side suplex. STEALTH hits the mat hard. TL begins stomping on STEALTH. The referee backs TL away from STEALTH, allowing the former World Champion to get back to his feet. TL and STEALTH lock up in the middle of the ring again, this time with TL getting the upper hand quickly. He whips STEALTH into the corner. STEALTH hits the corner hard, slumping against the top turnbuckle. TL goes for the Lightning Strike, but STEALTH catches his foot. STEALTH wraps TL in The Turbine. TL struggles for the ropes, but isn't in the right position to grab one. STEALTH tightens the hold, and it proves too much for Texas Lightning. (TL taps out.)
[STEALTH releases the hold, and stands up. He helps TL to his feet, and shakes his hand. The referee raises STEALTH's hand in victory. Cut to the announcer's table.]
Jimmy: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight's other main event features two big men in the LCW, neither of whom have held the LCW's top prize. What they have done in their time here, however, has earned them both a shot at becoming the #1 Contender to the Unified World Title. So, without further delay, I take you to Ray Albright, and our second main event.
[Cut to a view of the ring, with Ray Albright standing, waiting for his cue.]
Ray: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the #1 Contendership to the Unified World Title. Introducing first, from Tuktiaktuk, Northwest Territories, he weighs in at 499 pounds. Led to the ring by his manager, Crazy Canuck, here is "The Sasquatch" Jacob Lawrence!
[A spotlight shines on the entranceway. Snow begins falling from the ceiling. "Great White North" by Bob and Doug MacKenzie begins playing over the PA. Jacob and the Crazy Canuck exit from the back and walk to the ring.]
Ray: His opponent, from Jacksonville, Mississippi, he weighs in at 305 pounds. Making his way to the ring accompanied by The Repenter, here is "Reverend" Jakob McLean!
[Church bells resound throughout the rafters of the arena as the crowd gives a decidedly mixed reaction. Jakob McLean and The Repenter exit from the back and begin their descent to the ring.]
Main Event #2: "The Sasquatch" Jacob Lawrence vs. "Reverend" Jakob McLean
Jimmy: The bell sounds as both Jacob and Jakob stare each other down. Wow, that was hard to figure out, so I'll say Lawrence and McLean. Hmph. Sounds like a real-estate partnership, Lawrence and McLean. Anyway, neither man seems to want to give the other an inch, and in their cases, an inch is a grace period. McLean makes the first move, a punch to the side of the head. Lawrence returns the favour, and the two begin trading punches, neither one moving an inch. Finally, McLean steps back, and bounces off the ropes. Lawrence follows him, clotheslining McLean over the top rope.
[McLean is on one knee, taking a quick break. Lawrence moves closer, and McLean stops his advance with a punch to the midsection. McLean drops Lawrence with a DDT, then climbs back into the ring. Lawrence is behind him shortly, and the referee backs McLean off, allowing Lawrence to get to his feet.]
Jimmy: McLean whipping Lawrence into the ropes, a reversal, and once again. McLean hits a clothesline that staggers the bigger man. McLean rebounds off the ropes in an attempt to knock The Sasquatch to the mat. He comes back hard and fast, but Lawrence catches him in a bearhug. He tightens the hold, then drops him backwards! GREAT WHITE NORTH!! This match is over! Lawrence covers. (One, Two, Three!)
[The referee lifts Lawrence's hand in victory. McLean, still with scrambled brains after the Great White North, still has enough in him to shake his hand, and wish him the best of luck. Fade out.]
