The screen goes black as the last commercial ends. White letters come up on the screen,
reading simply: "WARNING: The following program may be unsuitable for some viewers. Discretion
is advised." This is replaced by an LCW logo. The opening bars of "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed begin to play. The logo begins to beat like a heart, getting bigger and bigger, eventually engulfing the screen.]
Drowning deep in my sea of loathing
Broken your servant I kneel
It seems what's left of my human side
Is slowly changing in me ...
Looking at my own reflection
When suddenly it changes
Violently it changes (oh no)
There is no turning back now
You've woken up the demon in me!
[At this point, the logo "explodes" into many pieces which litter the screen. The pieces begin to spin erratically. Randomly the spinning pieces shoot towards the screen, each one containing a clip from the LCW's past.]
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Open up your hate, and let it flow into me
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
You mother get up, come on get down with the sickness
You fucker get up, come on get down with the sickness
Madness is the gift, that has been given to me!
[The final clip, one of "The Extreme Franchise" Tyrone Walker winning the World Heavyweight Title from Johnny Wannabe, flashes onto the screen before it fades to shots of the crowd. Several crowd shots fill the screen, then one finally of the announcer, Jimmy Williams.]
Jimmy: Welcome back, LCW fans! After some problems with television contracts, we're here on another network, ready to bring you the LCW action you've been craving! And what a show we have to bring you! Tonight, all four men's belts are on the line as the men who leave here tonight will face one another for the chance to become one of only two men's champions after Supernova. Tonight, eight men have a date with destiny! Starting things off, Silverstrike and Angel of Death face off for the World Cruiserweight Championship, and the right to be called its' last champion. Following them, The Shadow has a shot at regaining the Hardcore Title years after he won it the first time, as he faces champion Grim Reaper in a no-holds-barred contest. Then, rounding out the night, STEALTH and Stephen Greer dance once more with the World Television Title on the line, and a match with the Hardcore Champion at Supernova, then in our main event, we see who will face the World Cruiserweight Champion for the Unified World Title as "Reverend" Jakob McLean takes on "The Extreme Franchise" Tyrone Walker for the LCW World Heavyweight Title. So let's get right to the action!
[Cut to a shot of ring announcer Ray Albright, standing in the ring.]
Ray: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the World Cruiserweight Title! Introducing first, he is a former LCW World Cruiserweight Champion, here is Silverstrike!
[The lights go out save for a series of spotlights on the entranceway and ramp as Silverstrike makes his way to the ring. He climbs into the ring and performs some martial arts moves before heading to his corner. The opening beats of "Angel of Death" by Slayer test the subwoofers in the arena as the house lights stay dark.]
Ray: His opponent, weighing in at 195 pounds, he hails from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Led to the ring by the World Women's Champion, Black Widow, here is the LCW World Cruiserweight Champion, Angel of Death!
[A single white spotlight focuses on the entranceway, where Angel of Death stands, his head bowed, his shoulder length hair fallen in his face, and his arms outstretched ever so slightly, palms raised in a sign of benevolence. On the screen, a picture of the statue that stands between Angel of Death's parent's graves is shown, looking very much like AOD, in the same position. His wife and valet Black Widow steps from backstage, dressed in a long black dress with a web motif, carrying his sledgehammer. She puts her hand lightly on his shoulder, and he flips his head up, sending his hair back behind him, and they make their way to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope as she climbs the ringsteps. He holds the ropes open for her, and she quickly climbs into the ring. They stand in the center of the ring, united, as shots of red pyro shoot from the corners of the ring, and from either side of the entranceway.]
World Cruiserweight Title Match: Silverstrike vs. Angel of Death (c)
Jimmy: It's a decidedly mixed crowd here tonight, as there are almost as many boos for Angel of Death as there were for Silverstrike, and the same goes for cheers. The crowd seems to hate one and love the other, causing the definite split in the mood for this match. The lights have come back up now, and both men circle each other cautiously in the ring as the bell sounds, signalling the start of this match. AOD and Silverstrike with a collar and elbow tie-up, both men jockeying for position. AOD ducking low, coming out of the tie-up with an armbar on Silverstrike. He puts on the pressure, bending Silverstrike forward with the effort. Silverstrike rolls through, breaking the hold in the process. Silverstrike back on his feet now, charging over to AOD. AOD ducks the lariat, but can't get out of the way of the spinning elbow smash. AOD staggers back a couple of steps, allowing Silverstrike to capitalize with a superkick.
[AOD hits the mat, but Silverstrike is interrupted by Black Widow on the outside of the ring, keeping him from attacking AOD further. AOD rolls away from Silverstrike and gets back on his feet.]
Jimmy: AOD taking aim now as Black Widow has Silverstrike distracted. He bounces off the ropes, hitting Silverstrike hard in the back of the head with a clothesline, sending the challenger to the outside of the ring. AOD distracts the referee while Black Widow works over the rising Silverstrike with a series of kicks to the ribs and midsection. Widow slides Silverstrike back into the ring as AOD steps around the referee to attack Silverstrike. He goes for an elbow drop, but Silverstrike rolls out of the way. Silverstrike takes the advantage, picking AOD up by the head and whipping him into the corner. Silverstrike steps in, nailing AOD with a strong elbow smash to the head. Silverstrike hits a kick to the midsection, then follows with a foot choke in the upper turnbuckle. The referee reaches four in the count before Silverstrike releases the hold. He turns back to AOD, but AOD reaches out, grabbing Silverstrike by the head and slamming him into the turnbuckle instead.
[AOD takes the upper hand, hitting a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection before putting Silverstrike on the top turnbuckle. He climbs the ropes, and sends Silverstrike into the middle of the ring with a hurricarana. Silverstrike slips up to his feet as AOD gets to his feet, and meets a kick to the midsection. AOD drops Silverstrike on his head with a devastating DDT.]
Jimmy: The DDT is one of Angel of Death's specialties, and Silverstrike has just learned exactly how well AOD hits those nasty moves. AOD covers. (One, Two, Kickout!) AOD argues with the referee, he claims it was a three count, while the referee contends that it was only two. Silverstrike staggers to his feet, and rushes at AOD, going for a clothesline. AOD side steps the clothesline, and Silverstrike takes out the referee. AOD nails Silverstrike with a strong spinning elbow, knocking Silverstrike to the mat. AOD drags Silverstrike into the corner, slumping him in the bottom turnbuckle. Black Widow collects a steel chair, folds it, and holds it in front of Silverstrike's head. AOD crosses the ring, springboard, VAN TERMINATOR! AOD has just busted Silverstrike wide open! The referee begins to stir as AOD drags Silverstrike into the middle of the ring. He sets Silverstrike up ... GOING HOME! GOING HOME! Silverstrike has been driven into the mat! AOD makes the cover! (One, Two, THREE!!!)
[Angel of Death collects the World Cruiserweight belt from the referee who raises his hand. Black Widow climbs into the ring with a microphone in her hand.]
Black Widow: Here is the man who will forever be known as the final LCW World Cruiserweight Champion! The greatest of all time! MIR may claim more wins, but who can best Angel of Death?
[She hands the microphone to AOD.]
AOD: This Sunday, I will enter as the World Cruiserweight champion, and be it Tyrone Walker or Jakob McLean, I guarantee that I will be leaving as the LCW Unified World Champion. This is just the beginning, ladies and gentlemen, just the beginning.
[He drops the microphone in the middle of the ring, and leaves. Cut to Jimmy at the announcer's table.]
Jimmy: Wow. Well, we've got one man set for the double main event at Supernova. It seems that Angel of Death, current Limestone City Wrestling World Cruiserweight Champion will get a shot at the top title in our industry. Later tonight, we will find out who will be facing him! But for now, we've got to go to commercial!
[ -- Commercial Break -- ] I've been working at Blockbuster now for a little over a month. So far, I've been privy to all but one of the new Blockbuster commercials with the rabbit and hamster. But has anyone noticed that the best parts are cut out once there is a guaranteed title to announce? Man I hate that. This has been my "rambling" commercial for the evening. Thank you. [We return from the break with a shot of Grim Reaper preparing for his match. Cut to the ring, where Ray Albright is waiting.]
Ray: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, anywhere in the building, and is for the LCW Hardcore Title.
["Fade to Black" by Metallica plays over the speaker as the lights dim to black. A single blue spotlight appears at the entranceway, where a man stands, wearing a trenchcoat and large brimmed hat. The man makes his way to the ring, slowly, taking in all that is around him. He climbs gingerly into the ring, where he removes the coat and hat to reveal The Shadow. Slowly, the lights return to normal as he prepares in the ring.]
Ray: Introducing first, already in the ring, weighing in at 230 pounds, here is The Shadow!
[The Shadow begins to warm up as the lights go down.]
Ray: His opponent, making his way to the ring, here is the LCW Hardcore Champion, Grim Reaper!
[Grim Reaper runs to the ring, Hardcore Title in hand.]
LCW Hardcore Title Match: The Shadow vs. Grim Reaper (c)
Jimmy: The Shadow drops an elbow on the sliding Grim Reaper, stopping his progress almost as soon as it starts. The Shadow picks up the Hardcore Title from the mat, holding it high. Grim Reaper doesnt know what hit him. He staggers about, allowing The Shadow to take the immediate upper hand. The Shadow begins with a snap suplex, and then follows with a float-over suplex onto a trash can. (One, Kickout!)
[The Shadow picks up Grim Reaper, whipping him into the ropes. He nails Grim Reaper in the head with the flattened trash can, sending Grim Reaper hard to the canvas.]
Jimmy: The Shadow setting down that trash can, and grabbing another one from outside the ring. He tosses it into the ring, and slides in after it. Grim Reaper is slowly getting to his feet as The Shadow places the trash can in a specific spot. He grabs Grim Reaper and synches him for a suplex. He lifts Grim Reaper, slingshotting him off of the top rope. He lifts Grim Reaper high in the air, and, PENUMBRA ONTO THE TRASH CAN! That's got to be it! He makes the cover! (One, Two, THREE!!!)
[The referee calls for the bell, and grabs The Shadow by the hand, raising it in the air.]
Jimmy: We have a brand new Hardcore Champion! The Shadow will go on to face either STEALTH or Stephen Greer at Supernova! What an incredible night! And we've got two more matches to go! Let's find out who The Shadow will face at Supernova, shall we?
[The scene switches to the ring, where Ray Albright awaits his cue.]
Ray: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the World Television Title.
[The lights go out and fans begin to cheer. "The Unforgiven II" by Metallica starts and the fans are going NUTS. Just as the intro goes into the music, fireworks explode in the ring and from the rafters. STEALTH then is lowered from the ceiling to a spot in the crowd. His arms are raised in the air as he hits the floor. He unclips himself and slowly walks to the ring.]
Ray: Introducing first, from Parts Unknown, he weighs in at 270 pounds. Making his way to the ring, here is the man, the myth, the legend ... STEALTH!
[With red strobe-lights flashing, STEALTH enters the ring and stands in the centre. He throws his arms into the air and red fireworks erupt from the four turnbuckles as well as the rafters! When the fireworks fade, the lights come up and the music fades out!]
Ray: His opponent, from Detroit, Michigan, he weighs in at 239 pounds. Making his way to the ring, here is the World Television Champion, "The King of Pain" Stephen Greer!
[The boos begin immediately as the first chords of Twiztids "We Wont Die" erupt over the loudspeaker as do the boos from the fans. The roars are so big that the camera up in the balcony is shaking from the decibel shattering roar. Red, orange, green and blue smoke rises from the stage while strobe lights flash across the ceiling brightening up the ballroom. All the fans turn one way and when the camera pans over it sees Greer standing up in the balcony holding his stop sign. He then slowly makes his way through the fans towards the ring wearing a multicolored ICP hockey jersey and black combat pants. He finally climbs over the barricade into the ringside area and as he does, Tyrone Walker makes his way onto the stage and strides down to ringside to stand next to Greer.]
World Television Title Match: STEALTH vs. "The King of Pain" Stephen Greer (c)
Jimmy: There is definitely no love lost between these two as they have battled since January over this World Television Title. The bell sounds, prompting the two men into a collar and elbow tie-up. STEALTH has the definite weight advantage, but is only an inch taller than Greer. The TV champion uses this slight height difference to duck under the tie-up, surprising STEALTH with a spinebuster. STEALTH gets to his feet quickly, and levels Greer with a stiff clothesline. Greer on his feet again, nailing STEALTH with a standing dropkick. STEALTH back up, hitting a rushing Greer with a powerslam. He hooks the leg. (One, Kickout!) Greer pushes STEALTH off of him, and gets to his feet. Greer with an inverted swinging neckbreaker, which he calls the "Murder Go Round." STEALTH rolls out of the ring.
[The referee tries to stop Greer from going over to the ropes, but Greer shoves him out of the way. He grabs the top rope and springboards over it, hitting STEALTH with a cross body block. He slides back into the ring.]
Jimmy: STEALTH gets back to his feet on the outside as Greer watches him on the inside of the ring. STEALTH hops onto the ring apron, and Greer hits him with a shoulder to the midsection. STEALTH doubles over in pain, holding onto the middle rope, and Greer runs to the other side of the ring. Rebound off the ropes, and Greer rushes back towards STEALTH. Greer leaps over the top rope, grabbing STEALTH on the way down ... SUNSET BOMB ONTO THE CONCRETE! STEALTH's head is busted open! Greer rolls him back into the ring, and climbs in after him. STEALTH gets to his feet, but staggers around a bit. Greer goes for a superkick, but STEALTH clears his head enough to avoid it. He grabs Greer from behind and lands a hard kata-hajime-plex. STEALTH follows up with an elbowdrop directly to the sternum. Greer pushes STEALTH off before he can make a clear cover, and gets back to his feet. Greer punches STEALTH hard in the head. STEALTH staggers back, then forward again. Greer grabs ahold of him ... NOTHING'S LEFT! Greer hits the Nothing's Left on STEALTH! He covers! (One, Two, THREE!)
[Greer gets to his hands and knees after the three count while the referee signals for the bell and gets the belt from the timekeeper. The referee helps Greer to his feet and raises his hand in the air while giving him the belt.]
Jimmy: Stephen Greer is going to Supernova to face The Shadow for the combined Hardcore and World Television Titles! Is his tag team partner, Tyrone Walker, going to Supernova with a title shot as well? Let's find out, after this break!
[ -- Commercial Break -- ] It's been suggested to me that I close the LCW and begin a new promotion. I'd like your feedback on this. Please email me your thoughts on this, as it won't even be a full consideration until I have the internet at home. (P.S. I do now have a computer at home, just not an internet connection as of yet) I look forward to your ideas and thoughts on this important subject. Thanks. [ -- ]
[We return from break to a shot of "Reverend" Jakob McLean as he prepares for his match. Cut to a shot of "The Extreme Franchise" Tyrone Walker as he and Greer celebrate Greer's win while preparing for the Main Event. Finally, we cut to a shot of Angel of Death, who is watching this match closely to see who his opponent is at Supernova. Cut back to the ring, and Ray Albright.]
Ray: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Main Event. It is for the World Heavyweight Title. Introducing first, from Jacksonville, Mississippi, he weighs in at 305 pounds.
[Church bells ring throughout the arena, eliciting cheers from the audience.]
Ray: Making his way to the ring, accompanied by The Repenter, here is "Reverend" Jakob McLean!
[McLean and The Repenter make their way to the ring slowly, soaking in the atmosphere along the way.]
Ray: His opponent, from St. Albans, New York, he weighs in at 230 pounds. He is the LCW World Heavyweight Champion, here is "The Extreme Franchise" Tyrone Walker!
[Suddenly then the house lights dim down and red, orange, blue and green smoke starts to rise up around the entrance way on the stage. Insane Clown Posses "Fuck the World" then erupts over the PA and just as it does, the boos blow the roof off the building. As the fans continue to boo, the curtain parts and onto the stage steps Walker wearing a New York Mets jersey with Walker #24 on the back. He slowly makes his way down the steps towards the ring bathed in cheers keeping his eyes on his opponent in the ring all the way.]
Jimmy: Tyrone Walker runs to the ring, but McLean stops him with a baseball slide dropkick. Walker staggers back as McLean slides out of the ring. McLean attacks Walker with a flurry of punches, but Walker comes back with some punches of his own. The bell sounds as they work their way towards the ring, trading punches back and forth. Walker ducks a right hook from McLean and capitalizes by grabbing him by the shirt and rolling him into the ring. Walker slides into the ring and both men rise to their feet. They dive into a lock-up, which McLean breaks with a kneelift. McLean clubs Walker on the back, causing him to drop to his knees. McLean follows up with a strong kick to the head. He picks up Walker, setting him up for a powerbomb. Walker counters with a back body drop, and hangs back to take a breather. McLean gets to his feet, and he and Walker stare each other down as the crowd erupts in a cheer.
[McLean and Walker pause, looking at the crowd as they cheer. They look back at each other, and move into a collar and elbow tie-up.]
Jimmy: Walker breaks the tie-up this time with a snap mare, which he follows by kicking McLean square in the back. McLean cries out in pain as Walker does it again. McLean moves out of the way, getting to his knees. Walker grabs McLean by the head, pulling him to his feet, but keeping him bent in half. Walker hits McLean in the back of the head with his elbow, then again. Walker puts a headlock around McLean's head and bulldogs him to the mat. He covers. (One, Kickout!) McLean rolls away from Walker, and gets to his feet. Walker cautiously stalks McLean as they take their time, planning their next moves. Walker rushes in, ducking a lariat from McLean, dropping him with a neckbreaker. Walker hops onto the second rope, sitting on the top turnbuckle, and leaps off, dropping a leg across McLean's throat. He picks up McLean and hits him with a snap DDT, otherwise known as a snap suplex which he turns into a DDT. McLean slips back out of the ring, and takes a breath. Walker is backed away from the ropes by the referee as McLean climbs back into the ring.
[Walker hurries over to McLean once the referee steps out of the way. McLean catches him with a lariat, and a quick fistdrop. A stomp to the head follows before McLean picks Walker up by the head.]
Jimmy: McLean whips Walker into the ropes, taking him down with a powerslam. McLean off the ropes now, dropping a knee into the sternum of the Heavyweight Champion. McLean picks Walker up once more, whipping him into the ropes again. McLean catches the rebounding Walker, hitting him with the Redemption. He covers. (One, Two, Thre ... KICKOUT!!) Oh my GOD! Walker kicked out of the Redemption! McLean can't believe it! Walker gets to his feet, he seems to have caught a second wind! McLean rushes in, but Walker turns him inside out with a lariat! He picks up the dazed McLean, and puts him across his shoulders. TKO DRIVER!!!! TKO DRIVER!!!!! Walker covers! (One, Two, THREE!!!!!!!)
[Walker slowly gets to his feet as the referee helps him up. The referee holds his hand in the air, then goes to get the belt. Stephen Greer runs to the ring with the World Television Title and both World Tag Team Title belts, and joins his partner in the ring as the crowd erupts in thunderous boos. Greer hands Walker one of the Tag Team belts, then they raise their titles in the air to the extreme displeasure of the crowd. Angel of Death runs from the back, and the crowd cheers. He runs into the ring, attacking Walker. Greer helps out his tag team partner, and they fight off AOD until the lights go out. They come back on as suddenly as they went out, and The Shadow is in the ring. Greer and The Shadow begin to brawl as AOD and Walker continue to brawl. Fade to credits with the four men brawling in and around the ring.]
