| I am 100% Ghanaian, 100% Guan. I come from Boso, in the Eastern Region of Ghana, but I was born in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. I am the last of 4 children, I have 1 sister and 2 brothers. And no, I'm not a spoiled brat of a "last baby"...trust me, I'm not...:) I spent pretty much my first 8 years of life in Kano, Nigeria and then came back to Accra to finish up my basic education (primary and junior secondary) at University Primary and JSS, Legon. I went on to Aburi Girls' Secondary School where I read General Science and I am recent graduate of Lehigh University (Class of 2003), with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Women's Studies. I am working on a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (still at Lehigh) and God-willing, settle in industry for a few years. Most of my friends call me Lisa, but I'm trying to get everyone familiar with one of my middle names, Ansaa. I was named after my grandmother and so, you see, I need to keep the fire alive! |
