| Spider Man- Is the first comic come to life of the summer. Peter Parker gets bit, fights crime, longs for the girl next door, and beats the bad guy. AMAZING animation and special affects make this a beautiful action movie. :c) Training Day- Is a story about a rookie, Jake, played by Ethan Hawke who gets accepted to the undercover drug unit and goes out for his first day of training with Detective Alonzo Harris played by Denzel Washington. Naturally Jake is excited and proud to be out there, ready to learn and clean up crime right? That all goes horribly wrong within the first 20 minutes of the film Jake is forced to do drugs by his trainer and participates in a few shady dealings. Just when you�re thinking Alonzo can�t get any worse, he does, or any slimier, he does, or any meaner, he does. The story has many twists and bends, but in the end the kid holds all the marbles. I want to watch this one again and again! Kudos Mr. Washington on a character well played. :c) |
