original eye colour
Coat colours:
Some eye colours (sorry for the disembodied eyes, hee, hee.) Please submit any eye colours you have that we don't have here. If two eyes look the same, they aren't I always check the hex numbers in paintshop before putting them here:
Specialising in labs:
Labs have the advantage of having great personalities so it is never boring to specialise in labs. They are solid coloured and I think they are very realistic. Most labs will breed quickly, however if creating your own lines it can take a while beofre you get mutations. They aren't all that popular at the moment which is another disadvantage. Labz used to have a small but developed community devoted to them. However they all faded and died. I've seen a couple of lab sites around recently which is encouraging. Besides labs have such appealing personalities and appearances that people tend to adopt them despite them not being popular.

Problems: There is a glitch in labradors called bug eyes:
Not very nice is it. I don't know what causes it and it is hard to spot as it does not show in puppies or when the pet is in certain angles. It does pass down. You should be careful when adopting petz that they don't have buggy eyes. I try to keep my breeding labs free of it and spay/neuter any petz that have it. One way to tell is that the pups tend to have big eyes. This puppy pic is the same dog (Special), compare his puppy eyes to the puppy pictures below and you can see the difference in size. Something to watch out for when adopting puppies from websites.. Of course this glitch may not bother you but in the old lab sites it was a real big deal.
Showing labz: Personally I think labs have great show poses. Their body shape makes them look more natural than some other petz. It is quite hard to line up their feet as they point out a bit (similarly to Daschunds) It takes a bit of training to get their heads right and their solid colouring can give them a disadvantage. The weight of the lab really influences the appearance of the pose too. However get the right pose and they tend to do very well. Plus we all like a challenge right? It's easier to get them to pose as pups.
