 You're
a hero and all, but you want more? You're one greedy bastard. Now's the
time to become evil. Kill the innocent, help the thieves, rape the ladies.
You'll notice that when gaining Alignment, you used to have only +1s here
and there. That's why early in the game, you had to jump on each occasions
there was to get bonus raises in it. Losing alignment, on the other hand,
is easier. Haven't you heard that the Dark Side more fast, more easy? You'll
often have -2s in Alignment, and it is also more fun! Once you won the
game once, you can win it the other way, and that's dropping your Alignment
to -100. Starting as soon as you reach -10 Alignment or less, you'll have
an extra choice when you come across a Dragon Tooth Clan battalion. You'll
be offered to travel to their island. |

As
soon as you reach -100 of Alignment, go talk to the Dragon Cult leader:
Phineaus Crane, the evil incarnate. If you have at least 100 Quest Points,
which you should, he'll ask you to complete a quest for him, and that'll
be to steal the Smackrod. Go to BoneTown. The entrance fee is way cheaper
as evil, eh? Go to the bar and talk to One Eye. He'll bring you to his
flying machine, from which you'll travel to the ArrisLand mountain range
where you will be dropped off. Once in the Koshi Village, talk to the old
man to punch him good in thbe stomach. You're no longer the man he once
knew. Go see Dahma, and grab the Smackrod from his hands. He won't hate
you for this, but will be deceived at the change in you. Bring the Smackrod
back to Phideaus, and you'll be declared a hero in the Daily News, will
get +500 Quest Points +10000 XP. You'll be allowed to keep the Smackrod.
To use it, just press Z, and you can warp anywhere on the screen using
the spot's horizontal and vertical coordonates (the screen is 80x20). Doesn't
require any turns to operate! |
