Yahoo 360 and Yahoo Geocities Blogs
Y!360 blog = Geocities Blog
Yahoo is really mad! It really is, believe me. As a result of inexistant strategical plannng, managerial indecisiveness and impotence and who knows what else it now has TWO blogging services that actually duplicate each other - Yahoo 360 and Yahoo Geosities. I started with Yahoo 360 which gives you an ugly URL but at least some features allowed and it can suck in RSS feeds - which is terribly good but feeds page has ugly URL again! The only nice URL on 360 is the profile page looking like http://360.yahoo.com/lzzrseo but even this page is not replicated in a nice way in Y360 internal navigation, so you have to fix it somehow preferably in your Blogroll. After this I go to Yahoo Geocities, create my blog there and what do I see? All posts from my Y!360 blog are already there in my brand-new virgin Geocities Blog. I post from Y360 and I get a new identical posting over there on Geocities too. Now think for yourself what you can derive from this wonderful feature (I assume it isn't a bug) in terms of bSEO. :-)2007-02-09 20:31:53 GMT

Yes you are right. They're the same thing. However, when you post something in your blog from geocities, anyone can post comments in your blog entries. That is to say, one don't have to be a member of Yahoo! 360 to make comments. I find this kind of useful to comunicate with my geocities visitors, even though it is not as good as Yahoo 360
