Final Score at Gaza: Israel 13, Palestinians 1300 (dead)

I'm sure to get more flak from pro-Zionist Christians and Jews, but Israel's brutal bloodletting in Gaza must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. What ever happened to the Old Testament "an eye for an eye" concept of proportionate response? Since when was it revised to "100 eyes for an eye"? The Israeli death total of 13 covers all Hamas rocket attacks over the past 7 years, while more than 1300 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks just over the past few weeks.

Now all eyes are turned to the Capitol in Washington DC as Obama takes office. Will he curtail the warmongering policies of his predecessor? What of Biden and Powell’s prediction of an immediate “major crisis” to face Obama?

Barring a major military crisis diverting attention from the economic collapse, the nation seems destined to have hopes raised by the new regime, only to see them dashed and crumbled by mid-year. At some point, it will become painfully obvious that either (1) the economic problems are much more severe than any governmental policy can resolve, or (2) the PTB don’t want to resolve what in fact has been intentionally created, and that Obama is no less of a puppet and figurehead than his predecessors. Either way, the new president is sure to become the target of the tremendous anger and social unrest that is likely to develop later this year. The bailout of Banksters and Wall Street will become a rallying point for the legions of unemployed squatters that have lost it all. ‘Bout time for a major war to change the subject, wouldn’t ya think? Call me a cynic and conspiracy nut, but this is what I foresee.

Meanwhile, I’d better watch my back.
