| Connecting the dots...An Intuitive look at the ongoing paradigm shift that is altering our world. | |||||
Entry for December 04, 2008 ![]() What's wrong, Mr. Bush - did you see a ghost? Or are you just pondering what might be in store for you after January 21? Like maybe some serious investigation into your many crimes and improprieties? Are you picturing yourself and Cheney, dressed in bright orange, in handcuffs before the World Court? You might pardon all your cronies before leaving office, but can't pardon yourself! No wonder you look edgy lately. OK, that may not happen - the new prez has his hands full with economic meltdown and such, not to mention the coming "serious crisis" foretold by Biden and General Powell. Besides, the changing of the guard at the White House is mostly cosmetic - same ol' powers-that-be (PTB) still in charge behind the curtain. Bush/Cheney will be brought to justice only if the PTB deem it in their interest to do so, and this would probably be to divert attention from the criminal cabal currently in power. Thus far, the new Prez appears to be stocking his administration with familiar faces - some perhaps more familiar than we would like. Robert Gates to stay on at Defense? What's up with that? We will have to wait and see what "change" is in the offing, but one major theme is surely going to be dictated by the worst economic collapse since the 30's as it continues to gather steam. I hold out hope that Obama may be destined to rise above general moral level of the PTB. Of course, he is keenly aware of the "JFK" example of consequences for straying too far from PTB dictates. He's an intelligent guy with no desire to be a martyr. The word from several intuitive sources is that his soul is more enlightened than the average politician - especially as compared to his Republican electoral opponent. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the new administration. We are entering a time of unprecedented change, whether we voted for it or not. Everyone is being swept along by this current, like it or not. Obama is the man destiny would seem to have chosen for this time. My hope is that he will have a shot at comprehending the new emerging paradigm, and thereby provide realistic leadership that adjusts to the new realities. For example, the economy is going down, big time. That much is obvious to all. What might not be so obvious, however, is that the old economy is not going to come back - not in your present lifetime, or even the next one. Economists and politicians seem to have an inordinately difficult time wrapping their arms around this one. How long a recession and how deep? Recovery by 2010? Unemployment peaking at 10%? It's just another cyclical downturn, isn't it? The best-equipped people to deal with paradigm change are the prophets who could foresee some aspects of it, like Jim Goulding and Neil Howe. Even better is to become aware of the scheduled Ascension period, of which this blog purports to elucidate the reader concerning, and which has been known to mystics and adepts for millennia. (Couldn’t resist that plug.) The old economy is a giant Ponzi scheme that requires an ever-expanding base (otherwise known as “growth”) to support the entire structure. It is not sustainable in the long run, has imposed enormous pain & suffering, and has inflicted damage to our planet. The old economic model requires continual expansion; CEOs are punished if profits don’t increase each quarter. Stores must open new locations, and consumers must purchase increasing quantities of goods. At no time could anyone suggest that we have enough McDonald's, Starbucks and enough recreational toys, because stagnation leads to inevitable collapse of this unsustainable model. At the first sign of slowdown, politicians try to “prime the pump” with various forms of economic stimulus. Now they are running the printing presses overtime in a desperate attempt to forestall the inevitable; paradigm change rarely goes smoothly. The old economic model also requires a militaristic empire to maintain status quo; it’s been estimated that a large portion of the Dollar’s value would collapse if it weren’t for the projection of American military force upon the world. (Buy these T-bills or else!) Wars are deliberately arranged with economic interests in mind, as documented by authors such as Jim Marrs. All things considered, the pain and destruction necessary to maintain our lifestyle has been enormous. The PTB must have foreseen that the collapse was coming, for they set up a “pump ‘n dump” scheme to allow the Banksters to at least cash in on the downside. They may have seen it coming, but may have no idea what is going to emerge from the rubble. They may have intentions of enslaving the serfs or even massive population reduction, but probably didn’t account for the curious effects of a gradually rising level of consciousness. This, then, is the bright side on which we will be focusing here. -Darkwave
