| Connecting the dots...An Intuitive look at the ongoing paradigm shift that is altering our world. | |||||
Entry for October 07, 2008 ![]() The Shift Has Begun We are witnessing an immense change that effectively means the end of life as we have known it. Many prophecies have targeted this time as the end of an Age, and Ages generally don't end without chaos and turmoil. The economic crisis we are experiencing will likely accelerate over time. There will be waves and undulations and moments of false hope, but there is no way this present house of cards can continue standing. False Flag Terror Watch: One interesting note relating to recent posts is the scarcely noticed insertion in the Federal Register on Monday of a dire warning from the Homeland Security chief that "there is a credible risk that the threat of exposure of B. anthracis and the resulting disease constitutes a public health emergency." One has to admit, the timing is suspicious. Recall that the 2001 highly refined anthrax mailings were traced to government laboratories, of which there are only a very few possibilities. The perpetrator was never apprehended or identified, but clearly wore a dress shirt and lab coat instead of a turban. Now on to our topic... End of the Age: What does this mean? The present Age is named Kali Yuga, the Age of Iron or Dark Age. It is considered to be the final stage of descent from the peak of the cycle of Ages, known as Satya Yuga. It is important to consider that all of recorded history has taken place as civilization was declining to its lowest ebb. During the so-called Dark Ages, or early medieval period, rational and independent thought was repressed. The Catholic Church provided cohesion for Western civilization, and though nominally "spiritual", it was also a dark time for true spirituality. The vitality and open thinking resulting from the Renaissance came with a steep price: Modern civilization became strongly materialistic. Rationalism and Existentialism convinced us that spirituality was an unnecessary superstition. Thus we have a culture and lifestyle premised on the assumption that matter is everything. Sure, religion has continued to flourish, but as pointed out here, most religion is essentially quite materialistic. The spirituality that matters considers the entire scope of existence, and focuses on the essential primacy of the Soul. True spirituality accepts "hard" science as a subset of a larger reality. In a Golden Age governed by true spirituality, terms such as "paranormal" and "mystical" would not exist, because our model of reality would fully integrate everything. This overview relates to the present crisis in that the old, materialistic order must give way for a new, more enlightened Age to begin. The Ascension spoken about by mystics (and in this blog) postulates the Earth shifting into a higher plane of existence as this Age of Iron draws to a close. This entails not only enlightened spiritual understanding, but changes in the very nature of physical reality. The details of how this transformation will take place are a matter of speculation at this point. What will become of the dark, dense portions of this world are even less clear. What lies ahead is a grand adventure...or a descent into hell, depending on your perspective. Perhaps therein lies an answer - it depends all upon your perspective. More to come... Darkwave
